Yeah, block usually refers to 3 or so sets published back to back which share a storyline.
I hope it turns out well, and sticks as well.
lol, no I know what a block is. They put "Saviors of Kamigawa block". I didn't know if they really meant JUST Saviors or actually all of Kamigawa block. My question was already answered, but thanks.
Ok that's good to know. When I saw Ravnica Block I was like "zomg I can play Bubble Hulk again!!" then I remembered they're a bunch of cards from Scourge and other sets -__-
Oh well though, i'm excited about this, soooo many deck choices. (at least in my eyes)
Pardon me for asking a stupid question, but when they say Saviors of Kamigawa Block, do they mean Betrayers and Champions too? (I know I know, i'm stupid...)
Anyway, I hope this becomes a lasting format and not just a one-shot thing.
As Eggshen said, it does indeed work. I thought it would be a clever\fun combo to have run rampant here and there at FNMs. The combo went off occasionally without to many problems, however I often found the pieces are to difficult to assemble.
My version used the interaction between Bludgeon Brawl and Puresteel Paladin to draw through the deck into a lethal Salvo. Though the idea is nice, I don't think the deck is sturdy enough so I gave up on it. Your version may do better, time will tell.
Edit: And tbh, my list was pretty shabbily put together...
Seems a bit light on counter magic. Maybe add a pair of Mana leaks. I also agree with Knife, Volt Charge would fit nicely in here. For some reason, I feel Urabrask, the Hidden would be nice too.
First I'll say I don't like Gatekeeper in here, triple black is difficult to arrange when a B\W mana base has no mana fixing. I'd go with Geth's Verdict. Though it doesn't give you a dork, it's instant-speed and is a bit easier on mana cost.
I don't like Sign in Blood much either. I'd take them out and run Tezzeret's Gambit as it let's you get card draw for any assortment of mana.
I'm going to have to disagree since it's a card type that we see from time to time. Footsteps of the Goryo + Stir the Grave gets you Postmortem Lunge, and then there is Goryo's Vengeance which is almost the same card. Those are just in Kamigawa which was just before Ravnica block and I don't remember too much graveyard stuff in Rav block (dredge only cared about more dredge).
Which reminds me. I would love to see dredge come back. Though I get the feeling it won't.
Unwinding Clock + Mimic Vat beat my face at the prerelease... might be viable in a deck like this...
Wow I didn't even think of that. I was just thinking about tapping down some blockers, getting in for some damage, then untapping to deal with the counter attacks. Vat would just be crazy...
I would love to see some old legends to come back as well as new ones make their debut. Though this is a core set, I get the feeling more allies (from zendikar) will come about...I really hope I'm wrong though.

Maybe something like this:
4x Neurok Commando
4x Phyrexian Metamorph
2x Urabrask, the Hidden
Spells
4x lightning bolt
4x Galvanic Blast
4x Volt Charge
3x Arc Trail
3x Stoic Rebuttal
3x Tezzeret's Gambit
2x Mana leak
3x Shrine of Burning Rage
3x Tumble Magnet
2x Sphere of the Suns
Jk, but seriously, I'm tired of that too.
Not to nit-pick, but a bit more organization would help.
4 Stoneforge Mystic
4 Squadron Hawk
4 Vampire Nighthawk
2 Vault Skirge
2 Gatekeeper of Malakir
Spells
3 Despise
3 Go for the Throat
2 Doom Blade
3 Inquisition of Kozilek
4 Sign in Blood
1 Batterskull
1 Sword of Feast and Famine
1 Sword of War and Peace
1 Mortarpod
lands
4 Marsh Flats
4 Terramorphic Expanse
10 Swamp
7 Plains
There we go.

Here's all my suggestions:
-4 Sign in Blood
-2 Gatekeeper of Malakir
-1 Vampire Nighthawk
-1 Despise
+3 Tezzeret's Gambit
+3 Tumble Magnet
+2 Geth's Verdict
Which reminds me. I would love to see dredge come back. Though I get the feeling it won't.
Darksteel Relic
No, but seriously.
The cards that stand out the most to me are: nim deathmantle, postmortem lunge, gruesome encore, and morbid plunder
