If we played more white spells other then the Legionnaire, Dispatch and Temp. Steel, it could be really good. Certainly more of a long game option, if you wanted to shift your deck in that direction.
Tempered Steel. Strip away the flesh, go heavier artifact, and Temp. Steel will be awesome for you. But keep stuff like Jor in, and Oxid Ridge can still work.
Also consider, say, Galvanic Blast and Dispatch. Never hurts to get rid of a threat on the board, or shoot your opponent in the face for that last bit.
Also, there is a pretty extensive thread discussing R/W Artifact already here.
Looking to sleeve this up for the upcoming FNM. I'm concerned that my power curve is screwy, and I wonder on how I can improve my SB. Being more of a midrange type of guy, I like the idea of using the heavier cost dudes, especially Jor Kadeen and Moltensteel. Not sold on Heroes, but it seems solid.
2 Revoke/2 Offering has worked out very well in my W Knights deck, and Firewalker and Purge seem auto-includes, esp. with Splinter Ascension becoming the next big thing. Its those last three I wonder about.
Just came back from prerelease- pulled Jor Kadeen along with Koth and Molten-Tail Masticore, figured RW Artifact was the way to go. Quickly learned that Jor Kadeen with metalcraft = win. Consider me a supporter for playing him in a RW artifact deck. If we do play Jor, do we need to look into keeping him alive? Perhaps Spellskite? Maybe as a sideboard?
Never played an artifact deck before, but I snagged a playset of Tempered Steel on my way out from the prerelease. I'll certainly be building some form of RW artifact, probably more midrange then aggro.

Something I'm curious about- would Volt Charge combo well enough with Everflowing Chalice, Steel Overseer's counters and, say, Tumble Magnet to build around?
