seriously though I'm seriously getting tired of people who think that if the card isn't a explosion of colors of the card CI then It doesnt make sense. I think the more subtle touches make for a more believable piece of art and conveys alot more then "LOOK AT ME I"M A NEON BLUE SIGN, SEE HOW MAGICAL I AM"
oh yeah and the prize was more packs, sadly I now have a play set of Xenografts and 0 Batterskulls, 0 sword of W/P, 0 karn, not even a single Bludgeon Brawl for my Godo EDH WTF?
If i had to sum up my nph experience in one word : meh
Did three pre-releases over the weekend, 2 on saturday 1 on sunday, Pulled absolute garbage at the first one ( I HATE xenograft, such a garbage card IMO) so i dropped after the first round and headed to the next pre-release and got much better pulls ( I pulled the green praetor, caged sun, Ezuri, and 2 glistner elfs. In one game i had all of those out and hit my opponent with a 14/14 trample infect glistner elf lol) however some better pulls and a couple of misplays kept me out of top 8
third one was the best out of all as far cardpool was concerned however. First pack(scars) I opened a sunblast angel and a foil Dissipation Field, followed by a Darksteel Juggernaut and a Wurmcoil Engine:cool2:. Here the deck that took me to top 4:
