Ok lets actually think here, 10 of them are going to be checklands, the checklands are played in modern while the filters are played less. I suspect the other 10 will be man lands, 5 new enemy ones printed in the winter set, and the 5 from worldwake. They rarely print a full cycle of lands in a block unless they are reprints ( ravnica and shock lands, ktk for fetches). I mean lets be honest we are still waiting on enemy manlands, the other half of the scars set. it took them almost 3 years to prints the enemy checklands. and 10 ish for enemy fetches. They also don't like having much more than a full set of duels and a couple half cycles in standard.
The allied checklands have been printed several times, but other than Graven Cairns none of the filters have been seen more than once. If they want people excited about the Expeditions, the Filterlands are far more exciting than the Checklands.
In addition, Maro said they don't want to print partial land cycles in blocks anymore, so it seems almost certain that they will finish the new duals, so I predict, new duals (enemy), allied man lands, and 10 filters.
We could turn it into rolling 3 card blind. The rules are pretty simple.
0) Someone posts a starting deck.
1) Each deck has to beat every deck before it.
2) If a deck (or set of decks) stands undefeated for 24 hours, the game starts over with that deck as the new starting deck.
3) Whomever posts an undefeated deck gets a point.
No forth deck after 24 hours, fnord scores a point. (actually that last deck doesn't work, so benbuzz790 would get the point. It's surprisingly difficult to beat those first two decks.)
I like a game where you have bans based on what's been used. Exclude basic lands, and just have the front page keep track of all the banned cards. Starts out smooth, but then gets much more interesting and tricky.
Wow, gorgeous art, but what's with the border? Are all of the going to have a border like this one?
The border is to signify the Zendikari Expeditions. All the cards in that "set" will have that border, meaning the new duals, shocks, fetches, and whatever else they reprint in Oath.
