The font on Ugin's Council and Gideon seems... off. I WANT to believe that dual land though. That Gideon would be pretty cool too. I can believe that Join the Ranks.
Join The Ranks is a real card, which may see reprinting, but Ugin's Council and Gideon are obvious fakes, Council missing the symbol, and Gideon having the wrong name in the text of his 0 ability.
ETA: The colorless mana font on Nissa's Awakening is slightly off, plus I highly doubt that would be the wording for "if this spell was Awakened".
Given that they still need 2 basic lands in play to enter untapped, the tempo loss might be enough to prevent 5-colour from actually being viable. If this wording is correct, it asks for specific basic lands, not basic land types. Multicolour would surely be viable but 5? Doubtful.
Could be, could be, but with the death of 1 mana accelerants, the format might be slow enough. I will be intrigued to try it if they do it!
If these are real (Still a big if to me, but...) then I expect them to still play second fiddle to Shocks...but in two colour decks, I can easily see manabases running these AND Shocks, so there's that.
As for what this likely means for fetches, consider this:
2nd set in BfZ block: Enemy of these slow-duals
1st set of block after BfZ: Enemy fetches
In doing so, they prevent having 10 fetches in standard (Khans rotates out the moment the set after the BfZ block hits), and we get a nice spread of duals. Standard will have to replace Ally fetches with Enemy fetches, and voila.
This seems most likely. IF they are real.
That's an interesting prediction. 5 color decks would be very very big for a long time in Standard if it goes like that. Enemy versions of these permit 5 color decks with allied fetches (since any fetch can fetch any color), and allied versions of these permit 5 color decks with enemy fetches.
Call me skeptical of that happening.
This land enters the battlefield tapped.
Add 1 mana of [COLOR1] or [COLOR2] to your manapool.
Landfall - whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, you may untap this land.
Way too strong. If it also didn't untap during your untap step, it might be printable, but even then I'm not sure. t1 this land, t2 fetchland 3 mana, t4 fetchland 4 mana... Or t1 this land, t2 fetchland only use 2 mana, t3 fetchland 5 mana?
Seems way too degenerate.
If these duals are legit, another set of lands that are only going to be played in Standard. If you're running a two color deck in older formats, you'll probably want these as well, but in hindsight, your deck is probably outdated and has low archetype win percentages.
I think these are good enough for new or budget legacy decks. Heck, with wasteland in the format as well as blood moon, running basics is never bad
Same in modern with magus and blood moon but seem some guy don't realize. I hope they reprint price of progress
Indeed, especially with burn, I thought people would be happy to try building a shockless modern mana base. Especially since you can run 1 or 2 shocks or duals for the emergency - I need to hit an untapped land turn 2
Here's the problem: Shocklands already have the option of coming into play tapped, and most decks can't function with basics, because their needs for colored mana are too strong. Everyone saying "but they're good against burn!", but the shocklands function very similarly if you want them to, or you're already fetching your basics against burn. It's not a big upside to maybe come into play untapped on turns 3+, when they can't come in untapped on turn 1 or 2.
This is my UW dragons list. I've found it has an excellent game 1 vs most control decks, even with the Arashin Clerics in there. Hallowed Moonlight has been great for me, stopping Collected Company, Goblin tokens, Deathmist Raptors, and even once stalling a Torrent Elemental for a turn. It's an easy card to sideboard out against decks where it isn't more than a cantrip, but it does enough to be in the maindeck. My sideboard needs some work, I think the Clash of Wills should come out. The Foundry of the Consuls might come out for Radiant Fountains, but they've been fine.
Monstrosity always did the same thing: made the creature monstrous and put X counters on it. This ability is keyworded as is. If they were going to have Ingest X, this would have Ingest 1. See Fleecemane Lion
Ah I'm a moron, it was their static ability that changed what monstrosity did. Had it in my mind a different way. Attention to detail I suppose. Thanks lol.
You're no moron, it's a very subtle difference. I just wanted to point out the difference in templating and rules.

Go an even easier route:
Barry's Land
Land
T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
A deck may have any number of cards named Barry's Land.
