I am not sure what counts as Control. I have been running the following list in the casual rooms. I only played it in one daily event but went 4-0! I am probably going to go to 2-3 wear/tear as I really like the card! The wastelands are good in the "fish" mirror on the play but not great on the draw. So one wasteland in the main is ok. Also the wasteland is obviously great to have vs workshops which is important. The wear/tears are great vs Shops/Oath/Blue-belcher/Tezzerett. Also they give you outs to all sorts of random things like Propoganda (lsv played this vs me in the daily lol)/Night of Soul's betrayal etc. I really prefer the wear/tear to cage vs shops as at least you can blow up a mox if they sided out the oaths. I also wonder if I should play a rest in peace over a Ravenous trap.

Usually there is not enough of a reward. You really need a strong incentive. In AVR I went mono-black pretty often if I got multiple shades early. But in AVr black was pretty open. Lilianna's shade is not good enough imo. The larva from ROE was a decent reason to go mostly mono green but green was awesome in that set anyway. Same with mono-white in m11.
This format is nothing like AVR. In AVR it was almost always right to be in green. I don't think forcing GU was right but forcing Gx definitely was almost every draft.
None of the sol-land decks are considered tier1 anymore :(. Probably the most popular one is metalworker MUD. I would proxy and test against reanimator/RUG/UW-Stoneblade/Maverick. If none of those decks murder you, your deck is likely playable.
In the last Simon Says draft on mtgo academy Simon runs vampire nighthawk with only 6 swamps and no other fixing. Is this ok? I would not run nighthawk with less than 7. The deck was predominantly red with I think 6 "black" cards counting crimson muckraders. I might be more ok with playing murder with only 6 swamps since it is more lategame but even that I am unsure of. Thought?
(in that draft I would have taken evolving wilds and ran 10 mountain 6 swamp 1 evolving)
edit: to clarify he did not have evolving wilds. I was just commenting that he passed one.
^This is the internet. I have no idea what really happened. If I knew you and your ex-wife and could tell it was all her fault than I would not blame you. However most marriages fail partly because of both people.
My view is that marriage is a promise to stay together for life no matter what. People should keep their promises. I view divorce as a terrible failure. The divorce rate when it is at least one person's 2nd marriage is much higher. It is too risky to marry a divorce in my opinion. Odds are they contributed to the divorce. It is very possible you did nothing wrong but you are in very bad company.
I really dislike "feminism" assuming by Feminism you mean institutional feminism not equal rights. Almost all mainstream popular organizations/people are misandrist. ex:
Jessica Valenti - read full frontal Feminsim
Bell Hooks - read almost anything by her
Feministing
NOW
Almost all women's studies departments
The feminist movement is based on a huge number of false hoods. Equal rights are not what institutional feminism is holding everyone back. I imagine most self-described feminists have not idea what they are even supporting.
I have no negative views of people with lots of sex partners.
However I do think being divorced is fairly shameful. This person entered into an arrangement that was supposed to be for life. They have failed to keep their solemn oath. It is possible their partner is 100% to blame bu this seems unlikely and they did pick their partner. I would never under any circumstances date or marry a divorced person. In general I would not trust a divorced person as much as someone who remains married or has never been married.
