¿Do you find the blue control MU hard?
i'm building the frog but is kind of hard dealing with all the blue in the meta, i've lost to Jenara and Narset a lot and want to know how to improve my matchup against those.
Thanks!
I dont think you can shortcut this one, mainly because is not a loop, you don't do the same actions time after time a finite number of times.
When you are shortcutting an inf combo normally you say something like "this is the combo ok? now ill do it 1000000 times", here you don't really know the number of times you need to perform the actions to get to the state you need to win the game.
simultaneously making black better because removal would be better. IMO, of course
I doubt that last part would happen. Right now, black is played for discard, removal, tutors and card-drawing. This would weaken the last part, because Bob / Phyrexian Arena & co. would become a lot weaker with 20 life. For that matter, the best black removal (Toxic Deluge) would be way worse with 20 life.
I think 20 life would widen the gap between the generals that can and those that can't be played. Who would play a 5 mana general when the game can be over by turn 4?
I don't really want to play a format where the game can be over by turn 4...
yeah im playing the master combo, and run the 1 mana discard plus hymn too, but against narset is not very useful, they just need to slam the commander and attack.
i guess my only hope is to get disruption to delay narset and try to aggro him.
i have been owning with alesha in my lgs for months and this narset deck appeared a few weeks and the only way to stop him has been switching to tasigur, but now is banned so i think i will modify my deck to answer narset adding more sacrifice effects (already have fleshbag, executioner and liliana) so i will add diabolic edict, arcane lighthouse, expedition map (for searching the lighthouse and the cavern) council judgement, and 1 or 2 more effects...
Im having issues with Narset decks, almost all the removal is spot so i cant kill it before it attacks and when it does is too late to anything.
The only way i can compete is mulling to a land destruction and/or artifact destruction hand, so i can keep them out of mana before they combo out.
i dont think is lazy... i mean nahiri is trying to save zendikar from the eldrazi and have her revenge against sorin, so attracting the eldrazi to sorin home is 2 birds with one stone.
Actually, that combo works without an additional creature. The 10/10 eldrazi creature token that enters the battlefield triggers Cloudstone Curio. Since Desolation Twin is already in play when the trigger enters the stack, you can target Desolation Twin with it and bounce it to your hand. So you really only need just Cloudstone Curio and Desolation Twin to pull it off. I do this with my Zada, Hedron Grinder deck. Whenever I play a token making creature, the tokens that enter the battlefield bounce that token maker back to my hand.
not in this case because the token gets created as you cast the twin

¿Any tech against this kind of decks?
here is a link to the deck, hope it helps

¿is this the same in duel commander?
