Well "WR Weenie" just got a new tool, the best burn since Incinerate ("WR instant: deals 3 dam to creature or player and u win 3 life)
Agreed. Though it's been said of so many cards in the past (like Reciprocate), this card could definately help make a white weenie (well, WR :P) a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming Standard.
I will be very glad if Bribery does not get reprinted in 9th. I've always been a fan of reanimation strategy, and it's not exactly fun when the blue mage can basically zombify a creature from your deck for only U more than zombify (yes, I know Zombify is black :P) AND remove a large threat from your deck. And see what threats are needed to be taken care of. Blue shouldn't have such easy ways of removing threats (including Shackles, which I'll be VERY glad to see go out when Mirrodin does.)
If Kird Ape and Hippy get reprinted, it will not only bring back players who remembered those cards fondly, but help bring back the archetypes that they were in (aggro R/G and MBA.. or anything with black, for that matter.) Those cards don't have the support that they did before that would cause them to warp the meta game (Taiga and Dark Ritual.)
I can see Leonin Skyhunter's return as WoTC wants to keep WW in the forefront, and a 2/2 flier for WW is a solid creature for it that'll help keep it in the forefront for the next few years. The Wayfarer is another solid creature for the WW deck as well, so I can definately see those 2 creatures returning.
I hope it's Hollow Specter too, I like the flavor of the card, but hopefully WoTC wouldn't think the "let your opponent choose" discard aspect would be redundant with Blackmail.
As for the gold cards, I think there needs to be another Chronicles type of set again.
If I had to guess what it was, it'd be Abyssal. It seems random discard is only for the player casting the spell recently. It was in 8th so I would say it's going to be in 9th.
I'm lucky in that the store here still has a good amount of M:TG stuff on the walls - I think they have the prerelease posters leading back to Onslaught.
I expected that spell to be good, but that's... I'm speechless.

Yeah, it's not auto-include 4 like STE because of the GG in its cost, but it is very very very solid in decks that can use it.
I actually like Glorious Anthem more than the aforementioned card.

And MUC, if it can get through, and they're not holding a Meloku/Keiga.
Thinking of it with Oyobi, gives a 3/3 flier + 1/1 spirit, and it's nice also in the early game as well.
That is true, but it won't be for too much longer.
Those lanterns also rule.

The closest to reweave that I can remember is Polymorph, but that was blue too.
If the 10 painlands returned to 9th, I'd be very very happy.
