Almost nobody in competitive environments will rifle shuffle your deck in a way which harms your cards. They will either rifle shuffle in a non damaging way, or "mash" shuffle.
That's going to be something that you have to pay attention to. Have to have to have to. When cards don't get played, they take up space. Pay close attention to your 1 drops, cards that cost 5 or more, and your combo-y cards. I mean... pay attention to everything, but these are spaces where people will omit things from their decks the most.
