Cool guys, nice hustle. I honestly don't know what I expected

I've been fantasizing about standard UBG ramp since Return to Ravnica, now my dreams will be realized. If I pick up some Overgrown Tombs and do fairly well at the Theros events, I should end up with a set of these, Curse of the Bacon and some green finisher.

For once I'm excited for the next standard. I'm sick to death of Snapcaster Mage, Aristocrats, Thragtusk and Cavern of Souls

Some really cool stuff here. Simic is my favorite guild and I absolutely love the new guildmage. Gideon is interesting but kinda feels like a 1.5 instead of 2.0.
The cipher spell strikes me as really amazing. One of those on an Invisible Stalker, tapping down two dudes at a time? Yes ducking please.

The only appeal is the potential for new art on decent WB cards, other than Sorin of course. I'll probably just pick up whatever singles strike my fancy, anything involving poor Tibalt is bound to be depressing ):

I think once I saw that the Syncopate artwork wasn't going on Remand, I tried to convince myself that they were still going to print something good, even if it wasn't entirely blue. I guess we'll see

So we've seen 4/5 of the uncounterable cycle, we've recieved one underwhelming counter in addition to Izzet Charm. People still expect to see an exiling counter, so I thought I'd write up my prediction:

Spell Derp UUR
Instant (R)
~ can't be countered.
Exile target spell, then exile ~.

or alternatively:

Forced Renumeration WU
Instant (R)
Exile target spell. If that spell is exiled this way, its controller may search his or her library for a basic land card, put that card onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle his or her library.

I'd like to see either of them, and since I'm beginning to doubt we'll see lovable Remand (at least in this set) I tend to think these make sense. The second one may seem a little nuts at first, but if it costed any more it wouldn't be worth it. I think the drawback is elegant and justified, it's certainly never made me love Path to Exile any less.

This stuff is all really cool, and some of it's actually good! Undying stuff obviously, and the ghoul. I'm looking forward to the DFC equipment. Everything else... dat flavor D:

Sad face. GFTTs will have keep me happy until next year by the looks of it, I've never played Jund in my life ._.

This is a real shame if there's any truth to it... Expecting a country to play with cards that make no sense seems fairly stupid.
Korean is a nice enough looking script (as far as pimps are concerned) but why not just print in Phyrexian? **** was awesome.

This is k. We don't need to revisit a plane again just yet, but I hope that when we do it's Ravnica. Either there or Zendikar, whose story I'd love to see continued.
