1: Anywhere from 1000 to 5000 at a time. Counting non-Magic though, easily above 20000 in my house.
2: About an hour every few months.
3: 30 Dollars. Really depends on the product though.
I can see someone came from Yugioh. . . Something different to note between the two is in Magic you attack with all of your creatures at once, as opposed to singularly in Yugioh.
could it be like a junction between Nephalia and Gavony? considering its colors, it sounds like it.
I believe it's in Nephalia. Judging by the definition of "moor" from Dictionary.com, "a tract of open, peaty, wasteland, often overgrown with heath, common in high latitudes and altitudes where drainage is poor; heath." That seems to be Nephalian more than anything else.
Well for one thing because they're the original big bad guys of Magic. Also, most people, not just in Magic, like to side with the bad guys. And some people like the macabre feel of the "ugly, abnormal" Phyrexians.
It's always a good idea to buy singles instead of sealed product. But if you want to start to build up a collection, use that money to draft every week. If not, head on over to the Standard forum and find yourself a decklist. These are assuming you don't have any valuable older cards to use. You could just as easily find a Modern or even Legacy deck you already have cards for and buy the rest.
The best thing in situations like this is to start playing EDH, but judging from your sig you already do. Maybe instead of going to FNM find a dedicated playgroup and just do a friendly draft every other week or something?
Right, I don't want to have another Knights vs. Dragons, when you have 4 knights on the ground, but lose the game because one flyer kills you and you can't do anything.
Not so much squirrels.
Well squirrels would be cool in any Duel Deck. But on topic. . . maybe using Aven and such instead of/with Birds could even it out?
Gotta be honest, I don't like the feel of this set at all. From just looking at the cards themselves, there just seems to be too much going on for a serious storyline.

Hope this helps
[EDIT:] Got 60% anyway.

Your name makes sense now.
