There is one attractive girl who frequents mine (but doesn't play, just stands around.) But she's 17, and most of the guys around here are 20- 40. So, won't work. There is one other, but she is basically high 90 percent of the time.
First of all, no, I did not just start playing Magic. I understand competitive and non-competitive cards, and I am pretty well versed on Standard Archetypes (at least before Innistrad, not so much now.)
I still don't understand why no one can figure out a consistent Infect list, it seems easy, having their life halved with no way to gain it back. I know that Infectors are usually 1-3 power with higher costs. But why not just GR midrange? Or a UB Control list with Phyrexian Crusader and Skithiryx instead of Grave Titan and Wurmcoil.
Could someone please explain to me why Infect just won't work? Thanks
Hey guys. In my quest for a post-rotation deck, I have decided that Aggro is the best strategy. I have been playing Tempered Steel, which is still great, but I hate playing with artifacts. So I decided to try a Red-Green Aggro strategy. I'm not very familiar with building this kind of deck (Tempered is very straightforward,) so any comments and suggestions will be gratefully accepted.
Here's the list I've come up with:
Am I the only one who is disappointed by some of the names on Innistrad cards? Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited for the set and I love the flavor, but a lot of the names seem too. . . generic. Just looking through the spoiler, I've seen such basic names as "Unholy Fiend" and "Doomed Traveler." Does anyone else feel the same way about this?
Hahaha right when I finished reading the Chandra one, the singer in the song I was listening to (Eyeless, by Slipknot , if anyone cares) screams "YEAH!"
It's Monday.

Here's the list I've come up with:
4 Rootbound Crag
4 Copperline Gorge
2 Kessig Wolf Run
2 Shimmering Grotto
7 Mountain
4 Forest
4 Boneyard Wurm
4 Furnace Scamp
4 Goblin Arsonist
4 Reckless Waif
2 Stormblood Berserker
4 Stromkirk Noble
2 Viridian Emmisary
2 Beast Within
4 Gut Shot
4 Incinerate
Sorceries: 3
3 Infernal Plunge
I know the idea of Boneyard Wurm is really bad, and I don't have enough fodder, etc., but I'm completely lost with this deck and need help
Girlfriend: Listen to (insert name of horrible music she likes) with me?
Me: I use Force of Will. Go away. *Goes back to building random jank pauper decks.
She knows about Magic, and I keep pushing her to play it, but she always makes excuses not to -_-
