so my question is whether or not blind obedience is worth stax slots or not?
its 2 mana to start locking things down and is good for throwing damage around for actually getting them into an endgame, which is a stupidly hard problem stax has from time to time.

personally i could see the boros charm in maybe something like zoo or something else?
that thing has alot of versatility and it does do the 4 damage with no downside what so ever thing.

so i was reading about this on another site and i saw a translation of:
At the beginning of each end step, if you control 4 or more creatures named ~cardname~ , you win the game.
don't quote me for it though.

no this set is of a low power level.
the blade people keep saying are gonna get played in legacy ISN'T gonna get played in legacy because 7 to get a +1/+0 is bad as a rule.

the 2 cards i could maybe see being played in ANY eternal formats are tragic slip in modern as a sideboard piece and grafdiggers cage in legacy/vintage because shutting down library shenanigans is rather useful, and even then i'm extremely hesitant when i say that.

most of the set is junk. i wouldn't even play this stuff in commander. the people who say "this would be good in commander" actually don't realize how competitive Commander has gotten recently and how it is more or less an actual format, slower with more expensive things yes, however the people who play it don't go out of their way just to get junk like this entire set.

also i guarantee sorin will barely be played because B/W tokens is still lacking even though people will try hard to use it.

overall this set is junk UNLESS you like limited. even casual i wouldn't play this, and i do play casual from time to time. overall this set really is garbage since in every format theres barely anything thats going to be played, and those who say otherwise, unless its about limited should probably feel bad for doing so.

B/c some cards so far in this set push other formats other than standard. This garruk is nuts with doubling season and proliferation

problem is not so much he can go back up, its the fact that in order to get to the best part of him, you need to flip by lowering him into easily burnable range.

in fact he even starts in easily burnable range.

lets take modern for garruk. he would get utterly ran over in zoo and RDW because they would simply burn his face off because he can't raise his loyalty at all until he flips. rock/deathcloud can also hexmage him out of existance if he actually still becomes to prevalent in that format, and with zoo literally dominating the format, garruk won't exist.

in legacy any deck running red would kill him instantly on sight, blue would counter him, and black still has hexmage.

and in vntage nearly nothing is played to begin with other then the same 2 decks going round and around for years and years and years.

even in standard there are SO MANY WAYS to kill him, however that i'd argue would be the best place for him and that is in birthing pod decks as a 1 or 2 of at most because it helps that strategy but really doesn't fit in anywhere else.

wow this group is being terrible at evaluating cards today.

the only really good one today is that shriekbird thingy that would have been hyper amazing if zendikar was in standard when this rotates in.

ok i was lying, the endless swarm card is stupidly good because i think it stacks in multiples.

the problem with garruk is he will cause SO MUCH overextension that this will only cause good players to make bad plays and people against him will get free wins.

people will try to keep attempting to flip him and watch him get killed before he gets used by swarms and stuff.

seriously why would you think putting a walkers loyalty rating to 2 for a turn is a good thing and easily protectable?

so @ people complaining about norin the wary:
go play it with pandemonium and watch the world burn for as long as pandemonium is in play by means of free shocks hitting everywhere every turn.

anyways i actually would like this if gatekeeper was here
    T1: 1 drop
    T2 this guy
T3: Gatekeeper, tap out for demons
    T4: smash face.

my bet is it will be turned into unusable junk.
they claimed they "fixed it" which means according to R&D terms that it is nerfed to no mans land.

I actually like this thing MORE then grave titan.

its a bit more expensive, but the sheer fact that in pod decks it is pure targeted removal on a stick every turn is just backbreaking.
it has evasion, it is the same cost, AND it auto kills any titan every turn.

this also allows for more shenanigans.

finally i could see this working amazingly well if MBC EVER takes off.

So Garruk isn't on the checklist... Also, rules question: if someone has multiple cards checked on the checklist... I'm assuming a penalty and then what? The card's RFG? Also, Fight. Yeah. Introducing a new keyword when you're introducing the biggest change to Magic ever is pretty strange.

actually garruk IS on the checklist under garruk relentless at 3G
