No. The CMC of Ready (Ready/Willing) is 3
a Fussed DFC CMC is the CMC of A + B but The CMC of a non-Fussed DFC is not the CMC of A+B, its the CMC of A or B not Both soo in this case it would be 3.
4/15/2013: In every zone except the stack, split cards have two sets of characteristics and two converted mana costs. If anything needs information about a split card not on the stack, it will get two values.
I'm pretty sure this means that this mean A+B, just like if BOB or duskmantle seer reveals a split card you lose life equal to the total cmc of the card, not one or the other. I will check though. Also it is not a DFC it's a split card.
This is my idea for the deck. Involves a zhur-taa druid in the mix though for infinite damage. I will be making this deck and I have quite a bit of faith in its ability to do well. Especially since you're running green savage summoning is an option. Savage summon it in on the end of opponents turn 3 with the mana dorks ready and if they cant get rid of it you win. Considering a sub theme of land destruction in it to halt the opponent.
Actually, the cmc of ready//willing is 6 not 3. You would have to have 6 mana dorks, or ones that produce multiple amounts, I.e. gyre sage/axebane guardian. With that being said its not reasonable to get this on T4, and any later, being a 1/1 is more of a liability upon playing him. Trust me it's a trap.
Silence is cool, but he is vulnerable as a creature, verses isochron septor, and since creature removal is main decked often, as opposed to artifact removal, it seems likely you will run into this: get silent stick active, pass, at the beginning of your upkeep pay one, activate silence stick!-opponent-in response kill it-pass? That's a straight 2 for 1 plus you spent your turns building up to it. Trust me, it's a trap!
Sure, it's fragile: mana elf, mana elf, this exiling Vitalize, go infinite.
I thought about this in standard with ready of ready//willing, but the fact that he's a 1/1 on turn 4 or even 3 and cant activate immediately is too much to overcome. IMHO he may be one on the worst imprint cards ever.
Not to be of topic but I had posed this question in another thread and it got shuffled on top of a lot of other posts and I never got any hits, do you think birds of paradise will be reprinted in Theros, a 'god' themed set, as the irl nickname for BoP is "bird of the gods"?
It WAS, but they prolly won't reprint it. Color pies keep changing.
In standard there is no green flyer.
Prolly is not a word. Although, I do see what you mean; birds was last printed what feels like forever ago(m12). Actually that wasn't long ago at all, hmm. And since it wasn't in this core set I suppose we will have to wait til the next one to see if it gets a reprint there because they would never print it outside of a core set. Wait, what? They did that too?!? Geez, we'll.. Huh? Anyway it's unlikely it will be reprinted in Theros, a theme set dealing with gods and such, I mean it's not like birds of paradise has a nickname like bird of the gods or anything.
Quick note to stay on topic: at 2bb this will see play, but at 3bb only fringe, jmho
So lemme think....this works with all ETB effects right?
Geist-Honored Monk
Tidehollow Sculler
Annihilator (ouch)
Hero of Bladehold
Wolf-Skull Shaman
Blade Splicer
Dark Confidant
Phyrexian Arena
Am I reading this right?
I would say sort of, as noted earlier the words "when, whenever, or at" not all ETB effects use these words, runed halo for instance does not, and instead says "as ~ ETB"
I'd gladly pay these $59.99 + taxes. But unfortunatly, these promo cards are only for North Americans. And because they are high profile (planeswalkers + new, flashy promotional rendition), that pisses me off far more than it should.
I'm from America and it pisses me off for you... It seems like ever since hasbro bought up wotc things like this have leaned heavily toward the us and Canada only side. It really isn't fair and with hasbro being an international business they should make this sort of novelty available to all.
that said i voted for season of the lich because it painted a more vivid picture than TITS!
Location: Outdoors, during a colorful dusk
Action: Liliana wades toward camera through murky waist-deep water. Her body language is graceful and confidant, there is a smirk on her face. Her tits* are outstretched just enough to agitate the surface of the water on both sides of her as she wades. Behind her two trails of zombies have just begun to rise from the water and follow her, as if awakened by the ripples caused by her tits*.
Vesuva will citp with the 10 ice counters on it so you still need a way to remove them. TS will citp as itself so it can copy DD without ever having the ice counters.
Right sorry, brain lag, I was thinking of clone + counters effects rather than isolating the cip/etb ability, thanks for clearing that up:)

I was thinking this the other day, did you see that art on goblin diplomats? I fart in your general direction!

I liked how when I had a reasonable question, one person actually explained it, and you just turned into a piece
