1.He kills other Yosies
2.Hes bigger then the angel so more of a beat-down so more prussure for other control decks to kill it.
3.When they do kill yosei it gives me a turn of no responces to play more threats do sunfoger tricks.
4.Also the abilty of angel never kicks in agginst decks like GG or hearth-beat combo.
I was thinkin about jiite.I think I will adding two take away a seed spark and sometihng else(not forgeri need 3).

But with Fungus there is no combo with yosei like there is with GG or Greater Good. And also with all the burn and the jittes it shouldnt be to hard for you to take out an yosei, keiga, or kokusho or any other big flying guy. and against heartbeat combo all they have to do is float 3 before the tapping and untap their lands and Yosei basically did nothing but get rid of an Early Harvest
The thing about the card is that it can start beating on turn 3.
The other thing about it is it cant be pumped.
Its a very good card and will give control decks alot of trouble.Still hierarch is better and so is Kodama.
I think people are soo excited about it because it looks a bit like Troll A.
Still its good and im going to get my play set.
Back to Fungas Fire.
I dont think it has a place in this deck anyway sowhy is it being discused here.Hes untargetable so a sunfoger cant touch it and of youwant sb tech aggainst mirror or Muc or jushi Kodama is still a much better untargetable creature.(if you want toget excited about a new card savage twister looks good)

I have made my build more aggro conrtol, to keep up with combo and greater good.So far my combo match has improved, i havent got to test agginst GG or Glare yet I will give a report when I do.
Hm....those wood elves could be good but if u run them and 3 godos why not jittes? if gives you life gain pump and some kill that stop regen. also you should cut 1 seed spark for 1 helix so that have some more critter kill. and lastly i would play Firemane Angel over Yosei since i think angle is so much better. Ya you guys are right my deck is a pile just tested vs. regular CMU and if this deck can't beat the oringinal it most likely isn't better. Looks like im playing the black splash version again. Also does this deck really need 4 Jittes. I mean half the time i have a Jitte on the board and 1 sitting in my hand since i countermost of their spells that kill my Jitte. So is 3 Jittes enough?
Have any of you tried white in the deck instead of black? Sure you don't get the removal of putrefy but you get stuff like Hierarch, Yosei, and CaD. Heres my build of the white version
godo is good in that you you can drop 2 threats that need to be dealt with immediately. although he sucks up your mana for a turn if you play him early, that shouldn't be a problem if you just wrathed the turn prior, or spot removed a few of threats over the first 4-5 turns. the problem is that he so vulnerable to everything. he dies to most burn and creature removal (pretty much everything sans shock and darkblast). and his attacking ability is only really good if the board is empty. you will typically never get both attacks thru, but if you do, it will usually be game (14 points plus a burn spell if you activate the sunforger). i play with 1 copy of firemane, and 2 copies of godo.
Well i think Firemane Angel is to good not to run at least 2 of. He flies, he kills almost everything, he give u life AND he can come back to life. Also i think if you run Fireman you should have it 2 Angel and 2 Godo so you can get both of them consistantly
BigD: Yosei is a good card but i dont think hes to great in this, i'll just have to test it. Also if you run godo u HAVE to run Tatsumasa. Its another win condition and it can dodge artifact removal.

That is pretty weird. I think that your using to many Pains and Duals and not to many stuff you really need. You have to many critters. Although i like the idea of using Yosei he just isnt as good as Firemane Angel. Wood Elves just is not to great, he may be able to get you a land and is a body but i would rather play Kodama's Reach for the other land search than Elder. Farseek is ok i guess for your build but there are better stuff to run like 1 more Char 1 more Devouring Light and a Flames of the Blood Hand. Also i would take out one Sunforger and add 1 ***. And Last cut 1 Hierarch for 1 Second Rite. Try that out and see how it does.
Edit: you also need Faith's Fetters and 2 more Vitu-Ghazi
I agree once gildpacts comes out LD is going back in action. That means STE and reaches would have to be in the deck.
Now that glare,ivory mask,greater good, and ideal are everywhere i recommand putting 4 scour on the SB. That did wonders to me at states.

It doesn't have an actual sideboard yet but I am pretty sure it will prolly contain mor tool box creatures. And cranial is a must add for the board. Lemme know what you guys think...constructive critism only please. Yes I know it is 61 cards but I cant find anything to cut out to drop the number by 1. Hm.... I think u might need to add 3 or 4 Jittes and 1 more Hierarch i would take out 3 Rend Flesh aand 2 Kagemaro, so that gets rid of ur extra card.

I decided to make Kudzu-Gro but i just have one question. Why no Kodama's Reach, it nets u to land and with a kudzu in play it get +1/+1 and then he get another one next turn. It would help me a lot if someone could tell me why/
Ok I got an idea today when i was play extended I was testing tog against rock and i remembered about red rock and got thinking.... hey it works in extended why not in T2. So I decided to build it and plan with it at the next FNM. Heres the list just so you know what im playing.
wow thats kinda funny one of my friends played dredge at FNM this week and went 4-0, it was awesome. I modified the build to my likeing and here it is.
I have a PTQ coming up pretty soon that i want to play on the 26th and i was think about splashing 2 colors, White and Black. White gives u disenchant which kill Engineered Plauge and helps a little against the Heartbeat matchup also it give u Kataki, War's Wage which just rapes affinity up the bum. Black gives you the Cabal Therapy and Patriarch's Bidding. So heres my build.
The Deck wins in the long term with Vitu-Ghazi, Meloku, or Yosei with counter support. Wraths keep aggro at bay, and story circle stops many a threat. Remand is great, not as a counter, but as Tempo where it basically grants you another turn in the early game. Treasure Trove is better than it looks, because once it's down with counter support, it will draw you more cards than any other 1 card could, or should. Also, you can draw cards at eot, when it's safest.
My budget is around 45-50 dollars, and i won't be getting any of the Rav duels, anytime soon.
It's safe to assume this is Counterpost if it is not please feel free to correct me.
So if this is counterpost, Remand isn't that good there are so many other good counters that get rid of cards and send them to the grave so you don't have to waste a counter so just replace them also 4 rewind is to much so cut one of those and my friends and I have found out though testing that Final judgement is that good so cut those and replace them all with with 3 Convolute and 4 Devouring Light.
Me and my friends have tested with Story Circle maindecked but we really didn't like it because of the fact that you have to pay W to protect yourself from a source of damage. So we instead decided to test Recollect with wthe logic of "why not just bring back counters to counter it before they can attack or deal damage to you" and it worked it also can recur a wrath of god if needed.
Telling Time isn't really that good in this deck in my opinon so i would replace it with Faith's Fetters so you could lock down a creature and gain 4 life instead.
Then i would cut Treasure Trove for Tidings because i wouldn't really like to pump out 2UU every EOT to draw a card.
Also you need to be able to find green so it doesnt take up to much of your mana sources for just the Vitus so i would cut 2 meloku for 3 Journeyer's Kite, because of the extra card left over from cutting 3 final judgement.
