Do we know when these are slated to release? also, if we're pretty sure those are the decklists, it should be edited into the opening post right?

would Contagion Engine fit here if i add more land? then this would mean on my 6th turn (possibly) i will cast this instead of more creatures.

Contagion Engine is good, but Clasp is really fast. You can really run either/or, I suppose. In a proliferate deck I might also think about including Ludevic's Test Subject and Falkenrath Marauders as well.

Birthing Pod is sorcery speed, so he could tap it during his upkeep without him being able to use it.

    Oh, crap. That's right. Sorry @_@;;

You can try tapping a Birthing Pod, but if they have a target all ready they can just activate its ability in response. If you tap it before Birthing Pod untaps all you do is waste a charge counter.

Given that goblins are dominant on many planes, and planeswalkers generally get around, if we can just imagine the quote from a planeswalker's point of view...particularly one who is observing them, then it makes perfect sense.

But you guys can't say something is strictly better than (in other words, better in every scenario) another thing if in some situations the latter card is better than the other one. So you can't call it "Strictly Better".

Wooaaa i am so excited for this set now.

    You guys have no idea.

    seriously.

just two weeks right? I can...I can wait that long. I can hold on for that period of time...yes, yes I can. Just watch me...whoooo.

Think Twice has always been a cool card in my opinion, so it's kinda awesome to see it again. I really like the Forbidden Alchemy, and Sever the Bloodline is also kinda awesome. The only thing that disappoints me is the fact that they haven't spoiled many blue spirits and that is what I have been waiting for, so I just have to be patient...I can do this. Whoooo.

Please learn to read Scarap, I've mentioned that before. Did you even read the thread?

All 18 pages? Instead of rudely stating "read the thread", is it really that hard to just repeat it? I don't really have time to sit around and carefully pick apart 18 pages of debate over something like this. Either way, I saw a post which referred to the violent art that you responded to, and if I remember the gist of it, your post stated "There's a difference between sexual stuff and then violent stuff". Not very enlightening, dude.

I'm going to assume you were replying to me since I brought up my children and you referenced that. My response is learn to read. I have stated many times I also don't agree with the hyper sexual pictures regarding half naked angels as well, but thanks for playing. I'm glad to that you can infer that I'm homophobic from that as well.

But what about the graphically violent images? Aside from that, if a kid sees someone naked, is it really traumatizing for them? We've always been marketed violent things, but if someone has a tit out it's suddenly the worst thing in the world. I've never understood the line of thought that violence is better to see as a kid than partial nudity.

I'm surprised that this art is so controversial, considering it's hardly the first shirtless vampire dude we've gotten in this set. The artist director (????) even said vampires show more skin intentionally. Innistrad is a cold plane, so most of the people cover up, however vampires don't really care if it's cold, so they can dress more liberally (or wear less clothes, if that doesn't make sense).

The art isn't even that sexual...like, a guy is shirtless and has muscles I guess, but doesn't that happen frequently? Besides, is there anything wrong with a kid seeing a man boob? Or even a regular boob? I don't think anyone's going to be scarred by something like that.

Compare it to the amount of times where someone will play him with his friends, and pump out a bunch of 5/5 demons and enjoy it. Lorthos the Tidemaker never seemed to see Standard Play, but does that make me feel any less badass when I take two turns that I use to tap down everything they own and slowly Lorthos them to death? No. No my friends. It feels awesome every time.

I think it's funny that Dual Face Cards are okay, but a common white trampler?

You have gone too far Wizards.

I really like this card, in other news.

Falkenrath Marauders seems like he'd go well with the curse. With one out he can hit for 2 in the air as soon as he comes out and buff himself up to a 5/5 for 5. I wouldn't mind using him, that's for sure.

Based on what others have said, I am going with the idea that there won't be a GW Human Land, and that Gavony will be the zombie based land. It has the most people, and more people means more dead, which then leads to there being more zombies.

xuuww, t - Counter target spell with converted mana cost X. Its controller gains X life. If you counter a spell this way, return that card to its owner's hand.

That's awful. ): I know counter magic is powerful and needs to be controlled, but that is just a terrible horrible land. You will never stop anything significant because the cost is so stupidly high, and even if you do you just make them harder to kill and they're going to just play it again anyways. Unless you had some ridiculously high damage engine that could hurt them more than they could heal, but even then to counter a Titan you'd need 10 lands. By that time you're probably dead anyways.
