    Also, moonmist is... bad.

Woah woah, slow your roll bro. We don't know half of the werewolves and you're already calling it awful? It's also a great combat trick. Maybe you could call this "magical christmas land", but I can imagine someone moon misting a ton of human form werewolves in the attackers step (especially with cards like Outlaw of Kruin Pass), or using it to pick off a few creatures by doing it after blockers are declared (especially with Instigator Gang on the field). Werewolves might not be a competitive standard deck (a claim I won't really make since nobody has played with them yet), but that doesn't make its cards awful.

I wouldn't say Blue has been the strongest color in Standard. It had the Strongest card (Jace The Mind Sculptor), but I think overall White was the strongest color. Blue was splashed for Jace, Mana Leak, and other such cards, but a lot of the power was certainly white based (Stoneforge Mystic, Gideon Jura, etc.). The Opening Post also ignores the Jund decks from Alara, as well as Kuldoltha Red, Red Deck Wins, and Valakut. Blue gets splashed a lot, but by itself I don't believe Blue is the strongest color.

Doesn't target until it resolves, unlike Mind Control.

Wait, you mean the "Destroy target creature" ability right? I don't think clones target at all.

I think comparing it to Mind Control is a little off though, I am pretty sure other Clone cards were used even though they didn't take the creature itself like Mind Control does.

Well, Alara had at least 4 keywords to itself (Devour, Unearth, Exalted, Cascade), and Ravnica had some number of them. I don't remember them all but I do remember at least Forecast, Replicate, Dredge, Convoke, Graft. I'm sure there are others, but I don't know them off the top of my head. Either way, having 4-5 keywords isn't something that hasn't been done before.

It would be really cool if werewolves turned other people into werewolves. Something like adding the Werewolf creature type and giving other things Incite (attacks each turn if able).

Wait, don't all these things have the ability to turn others into themselves? Vampires make other vampires, zombies make other zombies, and spirits...

Uhh, well I guess they make you a ghost by outright killing you? I dunno if that's really unique to werewolves.

I personally think that not having the traditional fantasy races would be nice. This set doesn't feel as "traditional fantasy", which is an idea I think could be fairly enjoyable, like a nice break.

I dunno how relevant this is, but unless you really really need the lands, I think it would be classier (better? kinder?) to just give the lands back. I know a lot of people take the lands from some of my local game stores, and as a result they can sometimes run into a shortage of lands.

The problem is, if we keep believing we're causing global warming we're going to be targettting the wrong forms of planet abuse. Getting rid of aerosol spray cans and cutting exhaust emissions are great things for the planet, sum total, but it won't do a dang thing if we keep dumping toxic waste into our oceans or have to use factories on slash-and-burned land to make our newer, safer mufflers.

I know, but I doubt we could do everything at once, though it sure would be nice. Some of the predictions for Global Warming are pretty disastrous, and from everything I've seen I personally think it's a higher priority than the others. I honestly think we just need to move away from gasoline as an energy source (as opposed to doing things like "cleaner mufflers" and more efficient gasoline).

Why do you care what other people think? If it's just some random stranger it doesn't really matter what they think of you, right? If you're going to take advice on something like hobbies or life style choices it should probably be from someone you care about.

Unless this came from that source. If so then, oops. My bad.

Yes, the air's capacity to hold water vapor increases exponentially as it gets hotter, which means more room for water to evaporate into and more things to carry heat. So perhaps CO2 caused by humans isn't the sole reason, but perhaps its effects on other chemicals are also a major contributor, like water vapor.

It might, but that depends on how much potential water is available. It's going to make more of a difference in places like an Ocean, where there's (virtually) limitless water to absorb into the air.

There is no debate on whether or that CO2 is increasing in the atmosphere (and I think the increase in global temperatures idea, as well), it is. The real debate (IIRC) is whether or not it's caused by humans. I absolutely believe it is, and I absolutely believe that we need to pay more care to the environment. We can't keep living our lives the way we are now, something has to be done about how much we consume, and the amount of waste we produce. In my opinion, making things more environmentally friendly by doing things like reducing CO2 (which is harmful for people, and the atmosphere, even if it isn't a significant component in global warming) and reducing waste and reusing waste is important either way.

One of the problems with the melting ice caps is that Water Vapor is actually a potent green house gas, meaning that as it gets warmer and the air gets moister, the effect gets worse. I think it's important for us to change the way we live as soon as possible, really.

The whole light bulb fight is absolutely ridiculous considering we have more pressing matters at hand.

I think the government protecting the environment however it can is good, however, since if there's nothing to hold certain people back they will just ruin everything for a profit.

I think the problem with Purple being "Time" based is that Blue is already sort of time based.

EDIT: I worded this poorly, what I meant to say is that Blue already seems to occupy the "time" based powers, with cards like Telling Time, Time Stretch, Time Reversal etc.

Oh, I understand now. The sacrifice clause is in both abilities. Thanks for clearing that up.

Wait, isn't the Devourer's sacrifice ability a triggered ability? Necrotic Ooze only gets the activated abilities (abilities with a cost, right?), so it wouldn't have the first ability.

EDIT: Or a static ability, but Necrotic Ooze doesn't get those either, from what I can tell.
