I'd start by checking out some of the 360 lists here and see what they offer. Then, I'd check out the cube tutor 360s. Peruse, see what you like and don't like, and then try it out.
So this Cube Tutor give some guidance when creating a 360 Cube???
I tried to find a place where you can put a new thread like this but was not sure where to, please if I didnt it wrong I am sorry
First of all I am a returning player, left after the prerelease of Theros and wont play more Standard at least, I still have one Modern deck , the other was banned, but that is not important here.
I want to create my first Cube, probably of 360 cards as I have seen it fits my playgroup. I don[t want to buy too expensive cards but I have some on my collections that I can add (some Snapcaster, Gravecrawlers, Linvala, some Eldrazi, Goblin Guide, and Planeswalkers as well)
My pool of cards is Modern Frame mostly, I have some old cards as well but nothing powerful. I receive long time ago a Odyssey and a Scourge booster box as a gift, so mostly of those sets.
My "Modern" pool is mostly from ZEN/WWK/ROE to the Return to Ravnica Block I stopped buying since the prerelase of Theros, but of course I can buy a lot of cards but dont want to spend more than 1 dollar per card.
My question is, what is a good ratio of cards on a 360 Cube?
I mean ratio of colors (I want to put guilds and some Shards.... and I believe there are new "Shards"on Tarkir) and of course Creatures/Instants/Sorceries etc....
This would be my first cube so I am clueless, I dont want a pauper or Uncommon/Common only cube have a lot of rares I would like to use and I can buy some cheap rares as well.
I think we should see all the cards with this ability. Maybe not all are land oriented.
And besides maybe there will be some one mana cost creatures with the ability, and to draw an Avacyn's Pilgrim on late game that can pump maybe a trampler for like 6 is not that bad.
I just think that this particular one is bad.... maybe there are other with better abilities AND Bloodrush or why not a "all your creatures have bloodrush"
Also there should be some "red only" bloodrush cards right? That will probably be awesone on an aggro Rakdos deck..... just thinking.
Hello just a simple question since I'm not a rules Guru
Does the Golgari Charm or Cower in Fear affects creatures that will enter the turn after they were casted?
Example:
I'm going to attack with 2 Gravecrawler, opponents plays a Golgari Charm, some of my zombies survives so I'm able to cast them again from my graveyard.... will they hit the graveyard again once ceasted since the Golgari Charm states "All creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn" so they will enter the battlefield with 0 toughness or there is something I miss in here???
Well with the Epic Experiment it can get X+1 until each turn for each instant or sorcery you find with the experiment.... I think this is a combo card....
I think this should be it!!!! Remember the last Uncharted realm and the priest that is fighting the Gorgon and she suddenly just dissapeared when she was injured? Well what else could it be that she just planeswalked away???
Remember also that the Uncharted realms history would end up this week with a preview card and that should be the Gorgon I'm sure of it (planeswalker or not)
The Sylvan Library alone cost like 10 - 12 dollats right? So we have still 16 cards to complet the 65 - 63 dollares left..... you have to think if the total of 18 cards sums the 75 or more you get the sleeves, life counter, oversized foils and.... +/- countes (what are thos for anyway?) for free......
But of course we still can get a Scrambleverse instead of a Mirari's Wake and at the end we will end up paying for the sleeves and counters alone
EDIT:
Can someone confirm me that this product is going to replace BOTH the PdS series and the Commander decks? (or was just the first that got replaced?)
Ty
It won't replace any, this is a One Time product becasue they didn't have the time to create a new set of decks for this year.
I love foils and since I'm a new player (Since Besieged) it is most probably that this box will have at least 10 EDH staples I don't have, the Sylvan Library alone is extremely difficult to acquire here in Chile so this is a good product for me at least, as they state in the panel the other day this is a product to "calm" the EDH madness until they release a new set of decks.
In any case is good to know that a lot of people won't buy the price won't be rising up to the stars...... unless they put one or two incredible cards on this like a.... Sliver Legion or a Kira, Great Glass-Spinner or why not a Vendilion Clique which prices are ridiculously expensive anyway you wanted to acquire them.... you can dream right? they are not in that list of cards that cannot get reprinted right?
