The new planeswalker is a 100% brand new character. As in, we've never seen or heard of them before. Which means it isn't Avacyn or Zarek or whoever.
Oh sweet, this just got a little more interesting. So it could be anyone from anywhere.... Well, we have one thing to speculate: is the new walker native to Innistrad? If not, what brings her/him/it there?
It's true that it's hard to build an efficient from scratch when you're new, but how is anyone ever going to get good at it?... not to mention how boring it is to play the same 4 decks every round and know there's a very slim chance the game will even be a close match. Oh well free packs I suppose... though I would much rather lose and have fun, then just mindlessly win
On a side note, most players that net deck lose because they don't understand how to play the deck fully. When I make my own deck I know the exact game plan, when to play what. If I were to hand my deck to someone I doubt they would win with it.
Reminds me of when everyone was playing affinity, then some dude comes out of nowhere with his astral slide deck and wins worlds
Good on ya, mate. It's people like you that keep the game interesting and fun to play. I would much rather play you and lose then play net deck x and win (not that I want to lose, but I want fun)
I am considering joining the army, but before I do i would like to hear what anyone already enlisted thinks about it in general. I have had a recent turn of events in my life, the army would give me a greater sense of worth, and a stronger person in general.
But as I said, before I commit to a decision I would be grateful for any input in the matter I would enlist as an avionics technician, as that can lead to some pretty sweet jobs out of the military as well.
As long as it doesn't take away from the walkers character, I'm all for it. Some cases, like Sorin, just wouldn't work.
I want a block devoted to Karn: Tumultuous Love. It would be an epic tale about his journey through the cosmos for an ornithopter worthy of his affection.
It's possible they ARE the same. Both look to wield the same colors of mana. And we know little to nothing about either, aside from Ral apparently being in Izzet. It's possible Ral Zarek is an alias he takes after a failed job or something.
Jesus, not even two pages in and we are already at this
grave titan is superior. cheaper and better against aggro
This is why I can't wait for the titans to rotate and leave standard for good. Then we can start playing more inventive cards. The titans stop so many cards from being viable.
No. Modern follows the rules of sets like all Magic formats. If it's not printed in a set it isn't tournament legal so Fire & Lightning and all these special reprint From the Vaults aren't legal unless the cards were printed in a main set that is in the modern format.

It dies to dismember
Man I can't wait for them to rotate so I can get better advice for deck building.
Titans make your deck strictly better in 1-4 cards.
I hate strictly better too.

That's what I thought. Thank you
