If Vanishing Ogre is the target of a spell or ability, destroy it.

"Demons? I do not fear them. They aim only for chaos and power, like a moth aiming for a fire. Angels, however..." -Rufa Treespeaker, lone survivor of the deadwoods.
Regarding which general I'm gonna choose, I guess it's a choice between Rhyze and Ezuri.
I really like green, and it's always been my favorite color, so going mono green isn't really an issue for me. However, splashing white while playing rhyze seems to open up alot of fun possibilites.
As it is now, I think I'll go with Ezuri. I already love to use the "+x+x trample" cards for the win, so it seems like my style
With that said, I've been reading some elf deck builds since I posted this, to get a general feel of how it might look. One of my main questions is how do you keep Ezuri protected from spot removal? I can see how usefull his "Regenerate another elf" is during board wipes, but what if he just gets lightning bolted / destroyed or something? I'll almost definitly run the haste/shroud boots, but I can't allways count on them
Thanks for all the advice
EDIT: Just read the post above me, and Totem armor seems to be one of the solutions to his issues I'll definatly search through my collection and see what I can find.
Hey there! I was thinking of making an elf deck for EDH, since I have always liked elves. However, I have some concerns, mainly boardwipes. How do you deal with those as a pure green elf deck?
This also brings me to my second question, and that is wether I should go for a pure green or a multicolored elf deck. Im not very familiar with all the elf cards in this format, since I have largely played semi standard with my mates.
Thanks!
BTW, If there is allready a thread like this, I would appreciate if you could link me to it, then close this thread if it is redundant. I am new to this forum ^^

Creature _ Goblin Eldrazi
Whenever Tecton, Maker of Maps attacks, target land becomes a Mountain.
Tecton, Maker of Maps Power and Tougness is equal to the number of Mountains in play.
If Tecton, the Maker of Maps is in any graveyard, you can play a goblin spell and 7. Put Tecton, Maker of Maps into the battlefield.
"Big or small, Power does not care. It merely needs a vessel."
Next creature : Centaur Assassin
