Cut an avatar of woe, we can tutor it. Cut a mikaeus, We can tutor it. (can't vote for triskelion again...) Cut all Xiahou, he's expensive on paper and I'd like to make this deck IRL (I realise the OP didn't care about prices... but because I personally want to make this, then that is my justification for this personal vote)
Cut all reccuring nightmare, it steals focus from corpse dance (lame reason but considering the circumstances, nobody else will participate).
Cut all sundials because It will rarely give us a decent advantage. If we buyback corpse dance, then we can usually get a win that way.
Vote to keep atrition, it's really very good here.
In rabidvacin's post, there is a vote to remove Emrakul. But the thing is, it was neither announced nor discussed in the post. I'm pretty sure it wasn't intentional?
Could someone else check this and adjust the votes accordingly?
How about Maverick Mirror? That is nice and relaxing match up.
I'd vote for this one. I don't see why it would be _that_ bad. But I guess if the OP is really looking for a different playstyle of deck, then that's fine too.
Since we're at the cutting phase, I'll just throw some more votes on so we can finish.
Vote to remove 1 Sundering Titan. This is a great card but because we have 7 grave-tutor effects, we still have plenty of means to search it up when we need to destroy lands.
I also want to vote to remove all the copies of Search for survivors. Because it's a random effect and we can't always have only creatures in our graveyard, I don't really think we should have a spell that will occasionally just "fizzle" on us. We have a few copies of other various reanimation effects outside of corpse dance, so I think we have enough ways to manipulate the grave-order if wee need to.
I'm not so sure about pandemonium. It can potentially lead to a (fairly) fast kill if we go: t4 drop pandemonium. t5 entomb emrakul and then corpse dance. Do 15 to the face and swing for 15. I'll hold off voting against it for now to see what other people think.
Today I'm adding 2 Volrath's Stronghold to assist in re-ordering the graveyard and for some extra recursion capabilities.
Vote to remove Triskelion because I feel that paying 5 (for corpse dance w/ buyback) to deal 2 damage to the dome is a bit much. If we're trying to go after killing creatures, we might as well be using more copies of attrition
Vote to remove 1 copy of Emrakul. Now that we have 4 entomb and 3 Buried alive, there are sufficient ways to get her into the graveyard if we feel like going for a surprise attack.
Vote to remove Bottle Gnomes. Lifegain is only good when you do a lot of it (even then...) and I feel that we have plenty of reanimation targets that just kill our opponent rather than stall the game.
can someone please explain to me how we can use corpse dance on emrakul? do we have to use it right when emrakul goes to the grave? because he doesn't stay there. if so, then we need some instant speed discard or mill effects to get a creature that's in our hand onto the top of the graveyard. putrid imp for example, or vampire hounds
Well because emrakul's ability is a triggered ability (unlike say, progenitus who's ability is merely a replacement), this means we can respond to it by casting corpse dance . We get a hasty 15/15 and all of our graveyard is shuffled back into our library. When I suggested the card, I knew that because we end up with no graveyard, it might be a little counter-intuitive to the overall game-plan. But at the same time, I feel that because corpse dance is going to exile what you bring back anyway, you might as well just have a swing the biggest creature in the game? Sometimes we might not be holding stuff like attrition or similar so that more conventional reanimator targets can get the job done.
I've always wanted to participate in one of these!
My suggestion for today is 2 Emrakul. Corpse dance is one of he few spells that can actually get around emrakul's shuffle trigger. If we put some entomb in here, it could make for a pretty big swing.
Hmm I thought that since you are already running life from the loam and intuition, you could possibly add 1xacademy ruins and 1xmindslaver. You never know, you might be able to steal a few games because you can catch your opponent unawares and snap the lock on them.
I'm a fan of venser, the sojourner. He is my favourite planeswalker, despite the fact he is mostly unplayable, especially in legacy.
Also, in terms of walkers I actually DO play, I like Elspeth, Knight-Errant. She is such great value and can often go toe to toe with opposing Jaces. She is quite good with stalled board positions and can often push through some last points of damage in the air to get the win.
Never understood the reasons that prevented WotC from putting gold cards in core sets. I mean, there are artifact creatures in them right? A card being of two colors isn't more difficult to grasp for a beginner than a creature that's also an artifact...
Good decision there, wizards.
I agree. When I was taught how to play, seeing RG on a card made much more sense to me than 1G in terms of what mana you needed to cast a spell.
Or do what I did. Build a really *****y deck. Like non stop *****iness. Like no matter how you go about it you are pissing someone off. Then do what i did. After you pis them off. Play your other deck. Chances are they will stop hating on you.
That is what i did when playing my arcum deck. I Made Erayo (When it was still a legal general)
I'd agree here. People get all ****ty when I use my Rafiq of the many deck, because it can easily knock people out of the game fast. SO I usually just play Zedruu the Greathearted beforehand. Being a 100% troll deck, it get people pretty wound up. The sight of Rafiq makes them comparatively calm.
Some people are going to complain nomatter what you do. These are the people who would rather sit across the table from purple blobs that do nothing all day, than actually play magic. I wouldn't care what they say really. If they can't stop my combo's then they need to learn what instant speed removal is.

Currently, both (faithless looting + emrakul + corpse dance) and (entomb[for emrakul] + corpse dance) will work to get emrakul out. As you suggested, Vampire Hounds would work and so would Putrid Imp or Zombie Infestation.
Edit: Saw your reply, I understand why you were confused now My explanation was probably unnecessary.

I hope this is the case. Why can't international stores have nice things too?

Sigh this is going to be me at the pre-release too.
2 of my innistrad packs will have dual lands for the rares that would make a 4 colour deck. Then I'll get complete bollocks in DKA.
It will be tough to get a decent amount of prize packs
