So, I finally about to printed out "The Booze Cube"

This is a entire custom set using the The Magic the Gathering rule set. With new keywords like BoozeTouch and other fun stuff. I have always wanted to print it out, but as I do not drink never really had a good excuse. Now I have befriended a new gamer who dose drink and thought it would make a cool Xmas present.

My only problem is that as of yet there are no "Basic Lands" in the set, besides the special lands.

So I found a website with some custom magic cards and got some cool looking basic lands. Unfortunately they are not themed though to Booze Cube.

Anyway, I am just looking for someone artistic who may be interested in making a Cool "Back" I would prefer not to use the official MTG back if possible. I contacted the blog owner, but he never replied and Xmas is just around the corner. What ever I end up with (if I get help) will be emailed to his address for possible inclusion in BoozeCube v3.

    Looking for Help

If you are artistic and wish to try making a BACK for the cards that is reminiscent of the MTG Official Backs, but themed for BoozeCube that would be beyond awesome.

The colour philosophy is described on the Official Blog if you need help.

Maybe something as simple as each colour being a different drinking glass or something instead of the normal magic symbols.. . .

    Also,

Much lower priority, but it would be cool to have some basic land that is themed to the set. Maybe 2 or 3 for each colour.

    Any help will be awesome!
    --Jynks

PS - I am not affiliated with BoozeCube in anyway. I just wanted to print it out and give it to a mate for Xmas, but thought it was a real shame that there isn't a back or any basic lands. Still I am not a art type guy but when I was surfing I saw that there is some awesome custom cards posted here.

Anything created will be mailed to the designer of the boozecube for his consideration to be included in the next version (assuming he makes one).

This is also a 100% non-profit thing. No one makes money.. apart I guess form that store I bought the colour printer from!

Also I had some cool pics and links in here to make the thread nicer, but I am new to the site, I pretty much only posted to ask this question so I can not put links or images in my posts Frown

  • posted a message on Any Android Deck Editors that support MTGO .Dek or .txt decks?
    Hi there

I know there is a few "android apps" threads but some are rather old and none seam to address my questions....

Basically I am a MTG player, but I use MTGo for almost all my deck building and drafting and play testing. Due to not having any real interested parties locally.

What I am looking for is an application for my android phone that can load a MTGo .dec or MTGO .txt file and then be able to edit the deck and save it into a format that can be loaded again as a MTGO .dek or .txt file.

I have tried MTG Tracker. This apps fails to import the MTGO txt files properly, they load, but only a small portion of the cards appear in the app. Also it don't really have a real deck editor in it as far as I can tell, it is as the name says, more of a tracker of various game counters.

I have also spent the 5 bucks to get MTG Forge. This apps dose not import MTGO .txt files at all, nor dose it import .dek files.. it only imports Magic Workstation files and some other text file but I do not know how to create them. Apart form that it looks like a good app, it has a card search, and a you can view the cards themselves, and edit your deck... but again.. it has NO export function so once you make your deck you can not load it into MTGo or MGT Workstation or Studio. Also the MTGworkstation import dose not function correctly as all sideboard cards get mixed in with the main deck.

    ---------------------------------

What I am looking for is a app that is a deck editor witch loads natively MTGo .dek or .txt files, you can edit the decks or build completely new ones, with images and then export them as .txt or .dek files witch can then be loaded in MTGo.

    ---------------------------------

    Dose anything like that exist?
