Mar 30, 2012Rabid Wo1f posted a message on [RET] Faithless FrightsJust a question but why aren't you running wreath of geist which is far superior than bonehoard (yes i know it drop's off when they die and wreath doesn't), it costs 3 less and you can use that mana for a number of things, i run a similar version of this that is mono green and i run unnatural predation it's a 1/1 pump and gives that creature trample, it's useful for boneyard wurm, ghoultree and for your deck the titan and urabrask.Posted in: jander_blackheart Blog

long answer, putting or taking away counters is an activated ability. I'm sure some guru will fix what i stated if it doesn't make sense.
1) How exactly does it work. I know they both have to be under your control as real cards (not tokens). Now do they have to be under your control for a turn? do they have a cost associated with it?
2) If you destroy the creature that is melded normally, do they both go to the graveyard?
What fun cards are there in standard to donate? I can think of offering them a demonic pact with 3 abilities used. I don't see much else. Anyone have any cool ideas?
Have you guys seen anywhere what the crystals do that you can collect in the demo? I know once you complete the demo you get the summon, but I was wondering if the crystals transferred and if so, what they do.
I remember back around 2008-2013 there were tons of video game traders on here that would either buy or trade for games. I don't remember anyone specifically. Any of the old timers on here remember them? Any of the newer members do this?
I recently sold my MTG paper collection. I am thinking about reinvesting in MTGO, but I had some basic questions and concerns.
1) Is there a way to input a decklist? Or do I have to manually buy each card?
2) How popular is MTGO? Essentially, am I going to by in and then my cards are worthless in a year?
3) How hard is the system to operate? I've played online on cockatrice, but haven't touched MTGO since I downloaded it.
Thank you for your time in advance.
Yeah this was pre-dragons though. I will probably try thunderbreak over stormbreath. I really dislike the phoenix though.
you activate recurring nightmare choosing Target creature in a grave sac'ing the alara to do so. Her ability will go on the stack and resolve once the recurring nightmare resolves. I'm sure someone can word it better.

+1 monastery mentor

Any thoughts?
Edit: the missing card is a land. Can't recall which offhand.
So i just caught this thread a few days ago. I tested this version and I will make some points.
A) The dragon was just meh. I was never happy to see her.
B) Last breath was useful about 65% of the time.
C) Elspeth was amazing for me.
I like this deck alot, but I think at Magic this week, I am going to make these changes:
-2 last breath
-2 Drom
-1 Hornet Nest
+2 Eidolon of Blossoms
+2 Temur Sabretooth
+1 Courser of Kruphix
Sideboard:
+2 Rally the Ancestors
-2 Return to the Earth
I'll try to remember to get the results. As a side note, this deck is a lot of fun to play.
Me and a guy at my local shop were discussing the hall sideboard as well. It does help combat drown in sorrow against MBD.
