john D. is right...i was thinking that also...unless they pull that...from a different time crap that they did with the planeswalkers...although i would always like to see planewalkers...just a biit of a cop-out---but no, we will not see another version
i think the main probelemwith this idea is that IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING! TherE IS NO BENEFIT to having cards with the same name but don;t do anything...just a headache...jeez
This is a nice alternate strategy, but really, it is too inconsistent, as you have no way to get them in grave but discarding, and then you are forced to rn more win conditios then you want to. the reason reanimate decks worked better of old were cheap spells that reanimate, and ways like buried alive and entoumb that cards from the librrary to the grave
Huh...it seems like he would have to die though...maybe G/R or G/W and he sacs to...i dunno...i think the idea for saffi would have been better on hans because he dies and she doesnt...oh well, i doubt this will be a card anyhow
the reason that this card was put into time spiral was because it is off color, and because he is eating books in the picture. No other reason...so, yeah, you could play it in a deck, but it will not be very effective, espeecially in tournaments
well, some of the cards you mentioned are rares and will most likely not be cards to make a strategy around because you cannot count on getting them...but basic decks, like rebels, slivers, thallids, and other strategies are worth considering
how bout
Elvish Hunter
version 3
Manabond
how do you get this on turn 2?
anyways...it dies to almost ALL played removal in standard, so the card disadvantage is just waiting for you
Flagstones of Trokair, Teferi, Bogardan Hellkite, Ancestral Visions...are some good rare backdraft picks
Purples-Akroma, Tormod's Crypt, Mystic Enforcer, Psionic Blast, Squire, maybe even Avatar of Woe are some nice picks
Well, most likely, they would print him before he attained his phyrexian lord status and was a lowly human...like they did with other planeswalerks
