While true I can't say I find unboxing videos to be all that fun. At the very least The Professor makes it somewhat interesting with the booster box game and can give you some indication if buying a box can be worth it rather than the usual "watch me open 6 cases. OMGosh I opened 40 mythics and you can too" kind of thing.
Tbh unboxing channels often have more subscribers than gameplay channels. It struck me when I noticed Alpha Investments had way more subscribers than Mtggoldfish.
I like Arin, he's a very enthusiastic guy and I watch GameGrumps from time to time. I subscribed to his channel for a few weeks but when I understood he wouldn't play at all, just crack thousands of dollars worth of card every week, I unsuscribed. But I understand why he got a few spoilers, he's litterally promoting the whale's way of life x)
He has plans of doing gameplay on the channel, but he's iffy on Spelltable and much prefers in person, so it's on the backburner atm
This is strictly worse mirrorpool (mirrorpool can do instant and sorceries instead if you want and can go in any commander deck rather than restricted to simic)
There is so much exiling in this set... and I can’t figure out why. It made sense for sets like theros where the central mechanic was a form of reanimation but there aren’t a ton of indestructible threats in this set and nothing seems to demand all of the exiling we’ve seen so far (yes, even counting the 2 cmc 4 sagas that revive a creature).
Draugr and Elves have reanimation, we still have ECD, possible reanimation themes in the FR and innistrad 3.0 sets
Also, I'm surprised that Niko turned out WU instead of UR. That planeswalker's Mothership article screamed UR to me, especially Niko's disregard for destiny and willingness to pilot their own path, regardless of what others think about it.
On Theros R is the color of Destiny and enforcing it.
I'm betting the poison counters is an enchantment that slowly gives them poison, referencing loki and chained in the cave being tortured by the slowly dripping snake venom day after day
I like this. Usually swinging for five on Turn 4, with Azusa High chance of swinging for 7, less likely chance of swinging for 9 with a passage and a low chance I'm swinging for 11 with two passages. Not to mention mannequin be left up for a pump spell or an evasion spell. Could see a red green berserk Style landfall
I hope this is real SO badly
