You're forgetting Scourge's own Dethrone trigger and not stacking the triggers properly.

Attack with Scourge, Ibex, a 2/2 (bear), a 1/1 (goblin), and we assume that Scourge is attacking someone who has the highest life total.
Put Ibex's trigger on the stack, then both of Scourge's.
Scourge gets a +1/+1 counter and creates a second combat phase.
Ibex does its thing, sees that Scourge has is 6/6 due to the counter, and gives everybody +6/+6: Scourge is now 12/12, Ibex 9/9, bear is 8/8, and the goblin is 7/7.
Assuming nobody dies, second combat, and we'll assume again that Scourge attacks somebody with the highest life total.
Put Ibex's trigger on the stack, then both of Scourge's.
Scourge gets a +1/+1 counter and is now 13/13, but doesn't create another combat this time.
Ibex sees that Scourge is 13/13 and gives everyone +13/+13: Scourge is now 25/25, Ibex is 22/22, bear is 21/21, and goblin is 20/20.

Even if Scourge didn't get the second +1/+1 counter from Dethrone on the second combat, everything would just be 1 less on that last bit. But you can't assume Scourge creates a second combat and not also give it the +1/+1 counter.

Correct. I am forgetting the dethrone +1/+1!
It makes an adequate mess of all opponents if it all trigger right!
    Thanks for breaking that down.

So chaos wand really took advantage of that black player hahaha
Might have to play test it. Top deck tutors are very common in my meta. Being able to take that away from my opponents would be really useful.

welding jar is great. There's always something worth saving and just by having it on the field deters your opponents from wasting a removal spell knowing it likely won't resolve (unless the table turns on you (and playing Kozi they often do)

grafdigger's cage doesn't shut down Planar bridge. The bridge doesn't cast, it literally takes a permenant and put it on the field.
Also, crucible of worlds doesn't target so silent gravestone will still let you play lands from your graveyard.

relic of progenitus is good and with rings of brighthearth you can draw up a few cards with the trigger.

I also find geode golem struggles to see a combat phase. He's absolutely amazing but our opponents know that. It's 5 cost makes that sting pretty bad when it gets destroyed. Losing a Metalworker at 3 hurts a lot less than the five mana and I find Metalworker gets allowed more times than a geode golem.

Check out this post and check out the card tags section which gives detail on tagging cards. Probably explains it better than I did lol.

Assuming scourge is the biggest creature and assuming you're getting the dethrone trigger everything doubles, then quadruples on the second attack phase.
I based my math on swinging with a few 2/2's and 1/1's as a worst case scenario.
2/2's get turned into 7/7s from pathbreaker's trigger, then on the second attack phase they'd get +10/+10 from the second trigger (looking at scourge's power and toughness after buffing to 10/10) turning them into 17/17's dealing a total of 24 damage over the course of the turn.
If you typically swung with 5 creatures you're dealing a minimum of about 120 damage assuming everything sticks around on the board to get all the triggers,

The downside is given the nature of the deck you're opponents won't ideally be on the highest life total!

I ding NOT read deadwood treefolk properly... Enters and leaves?!
    Well that's going in!

I'm think of running scourge of the throne to go with pathbreaker ibex to deal 8 times the amount of damage in a turn... All going well!

Board wipes are painful. There's no getting around the fact that they just wreck the plan but they hurt any deck.
I need to get my hands on a soul of new phyrexia because its just amazing.
Nikya's doubling effect says 2.5 mana, everything is saved!
Definitely going in the build. It's even useful just to swing in indestructible and have nothing die in combat.

Thanks, I'd forgotten about sakura-tribe scout. skyshroud ranger and walking atlas are amazing she you get the draw engine online, another little dude to throw down a land would be amazing.

Yeah, vizier it so useful. It's like having an extended hand of however many creatures you have in a row and coupled with a shuffle effect, it's an amazing 4 drop.

I need to get at least eternal witness into the deck. I pretty much made it up out of things I had spare and laying about from old decks but I ran out of eternal witnesses lol.

    GRUUL SMASH!

Tired of combo and token strategies I decided to build a combat deck with no infinite combos.
I wanted a deck to go full Timmy.
I wanted to pull off massive, big mana plays with splashy creatures and impressive attack phases.
This started life as a Zacama, Primal Calamity Naya stomp deck the played lots of mana doubling enchantments to take advantage of Zacama's abilities and force him out as early as possible but when Nikya was spoiled I quickly pulled the white and all non-creature spells.
Being able to have a one sided mana doubler in the command zone on a 5/5 beat stick was something I couldn't pass up.
I was also looking for a deck that wasn't completely commander centric which Nikya provides. If sh'es not in the field, all that happens is the tempo levels out to what a normal deck can do.

The deck ramps hard and keeps up the tempo by using draw creatures to fire out threat after threat which build into an enormous trampling wall of death.

    0 Rugged Highlands
    0 Skarrg, the Rage Pits
    0 Stomping Ground
    0 Winding Canyons
    0 Wooded Foothills

I would usually create deck by card type but the deck is 100% creatures and land.

All the ramp creatures lean into Nikya's mana doubling ability so they either provide more lands or untap lands making them more valuable.
I'm only running a single dork (Karametra's Acolyte) as they don't enhance my board state as well as land fetch dudes.
Cards like Somberwald Sage aren't as good as a Wood Elves in this build.
The deck makes investments into the land count rather than the creatures that tap for mana.
After I've gotten the use out of the Wood Elves I can throw them into combat and still make double the mana on the land. Somberwald Sage would have to hang back to tap.
    No guts, no glory!

I'm also running other mana doublers in the deck in the form of Regal Behemoth and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger because tripling and often quadrupling man output is hilarious.
I'm not running dudes like Keeper of Progenitus though because I'm not sharing the fun of double lands.

I've steered toward a gruul mentaility here as well.
Kind of like an 'only the strong' ethos with the creatures so you won't see any token strategies outside of Hydra Broodmaster, Omnath, Locus of Rage and Rampaging Baloths. These three creatures produce BIG tokens.
I'm not interested in printing 20 insects with an Ant Queen and swinging wide.
The deck is more like a tidal wave than a flood in that it has huge creatures trampling over the top rather than outnumbering and going around the blockers.

A massive bonus of having lands that are pretty much always worth double their value is that that are usually mediocre search lands are made so much better.
Myriad Landscape and Blighted Woodland synergies with the landfall creatures but they also work really well with Vizier of the Menagerie, Oracle of Mul Daya and Garruk's Horde because of the ability to switch out the top cards of the library with a quick shuffle of the deck.
Pretty much every single search creature does exactly the same.
If you can play off the top of your library then do so. When you hit a card you can't use, cast a search to shuffle and then carry on.

You've also probably noticed (because I've said it) that there are zero non-creature spells in the deck.
Yes I could work in a sacrifice strategy to remove Nikya or play non-creature spells after she's been removed but I would much rather build to the deck's strengths and have the ability to play all cards at all times.
Even though I just took out Regal Force for a Primal Surge I could put my entire library on the field as they're all permenants (which I was doing previously and it's hilarious)

As there's a creature for every occasion there's no need to run non-creature cards.
If Animar can do it, so can I!

Suggestions welcome. Don't say Sol Ring!

    OUT>IN

    Khalni Hydra>Scourge of the Throne
8/8 trampling hydra with not a lot else going for it.
Even though it's synergy with karametra's acolyte is amazing and even though I've never even paid a single mana for it in all the games I've played I had to take it out for something that can cause more damage to my opponents. An additional combat step will do that so it's bye bye for now.

    Runic Armasaur>Bramble Sovereign
The drawasaurus didn't actually draw all that many cards if up against decks that didn't rely heavily on activated abilities. A lot of time it would be cast, then sat there idle apart from the odd attack or block.
Bramble sovereign is an absulute house in this deck. Because of Nikya's ability you only need to tap one land to duplicate a creature resulting in double draw engines, double attack amplifiers and double removal. Win.

I think you might struggle to get a decent response because of the formatting of your post.
There's a lot of links there. It's a lot easier to make suggestions if all the information is in one place for other brewers to take a look at them.
Format your deck list using the deck button in the tools in the comment box (second from right) then maybe list the cards you're considering as card tags (fourth from the left) which makes the cards you're sinsidering look like this: Thief of Sanity.
Usually I'd pull the deck for you to get you started but those deckbox decklist make to too lengthy to pull the info.

If you format the deck right you'll spark some useful responses.

I think the only way you might be able to fix the mana screw in this way would be:

“At the beginning of your upkeep, if another player controls two or more lands than you, you may exile a card from your hand.
If you do, search your library for a basic land and put it into your hand. Skip your draw step.”

That way it doesn’t reward the players who build with 20ish lands to abuse the rule and presents card disadvantage in exchange for the lands
...almost like mulliganing after the mulligan stage... but with one card

    Cheers dude!

Yeah, anything that plays with lands is amazing with winter orb.
I used to play with both static orb and trinisphere with clock of omens and icy manipulator but I just found myself messing about with my own board trying to fight my own effects!

I know! I'm waiting for the ban hammer to break the engine!
Been waiting since it was spoiled. The funny thing is we only abuse it to such a small level compared to the decks that have one or more colours.
    It's a ridiculous card!

Everyone foils their Kozi deck. It's so strange. Mine is all foil (apart from those that aren't available obviously), it's taken me years to track down all the judge promos and alternate arts to really pimp it out!

Let me know where you land on chaos wand. I can't say I've ever seen it which is rare, I've play tested so many colourless cards in this deck but that wand has slipped my notice.

mana web is a fairly decent card but I find a lot of players just play around it.
The only player it stops is the blue dude at the table and his handful of counters. I ran it for a little while and found it to be worse than I had hoped.
I definitely see conduit of ruin as one of your weakest cards, that and void winnower but void winnower has some serious stopping power on the board. The only reason I see it as weak is because of the cost vs what it does to progress the game plan. The best thing it has going for it is stopping kozilek getting chumped by tokens.

What sort of decks are in your meta? Are you facing a lot of token strategies or graveyard plays? If so I recommend cards like ratchet bomb or grafdigger's cage. Or if you are having trouble with the counters and removal maybe defense grid?

The card tag is the little mtg card on the right of the toolbar in the comment box, 4th from the right. You can either highlight the name you typed out and click it or click it and type the same between the html it brings up.

I'm currently having tons of fun with a Nikya of the Old Ways gruul smash deck.
It's fun for the table because it just plays a big pile of aggro creatures without any theft, control or even much removal.
It plays super easy and everything you're doing is in front of you with no tricks or surprises.
It keeps your hand full with cards like soul of the harvest and wrecks face with pathbreaker ibex.
    Good family fun!

Wow, a slow clap exit. You're playing the deck right then!
How long have you been playing it?

No, you're right on chaos wand, that's what you get from reading cards at midnight and trying to make an informed decision on them hahaha.
Yes, no mana to pay so the wand will throw out the instant or sorcery for free if you want it to.
I like the interaction and I suppose if your opponent is in green with a decent ramp package you'll be able to dig out your wastes pretty easily too.
If it left those cards in exile I'd prefer it more but it only really take out maybe a third of their deck best case scenario. If it's working for you keep it but I would try and take note of how many times it swings and misses. If you had staff of domination instead of the staff you will 100% win the game if you had paradox engine and a few mana rocks.

lotus bloom in an opening hand is good because as you said, you've got the same effect of LED without the downside but I often find LED doesn't have that bad of a downside. I've never had to discard more than 3 cards to it and they were cards I was happy to chuck anyway given what's usually in front of me.
The two downsides of lotus bloom is that late game it's tricky to get into play to have a use when you need it.
If you've dropped most, if not all of your hand into getting Kozi out and you draw up lotus bloom and another rock, lotus bloom isn't gonna give you the reach to the next Kozi cast unless the other rock taps for more than 2, you've got to wait 3 turns and the game may not even last that much further. LED would come in and be used and more than likely you'll have no cards in hand when you activate it.
The other problem I have is that lotus bloom is an easy counter. Your opponents have all the information they need in front of them from your board state to see whether that 3 mana will put you in a position to cast your commander. They have three turns to hold up a counter to prevent it happening.
I get why you would run it and you make a decent case for the card but personally I think there are more downsides to lotus bloom than there are LED.

Nevinyrral's disk will wreck your creatures but it'll also wreck your opponents creatures too. If they have none and you have none, then you cast your commander you'll have about the same amount of creatures you started with! Plus you get to draw up and carry on. They'll struggle to keep up the pace and will fall behind every time you activate the disk.
I run it as a board wipe. My meta is heavy with artifact removal just from this deck being in the pool, I activate the disk when I've been set so far back it no longer matters and puts me back on the same level field as my opponents.

Im not a fan of conduit of ruin. It's a card that comes in and doesn't really improve the board state all that much, and guarantees that our next card isn't ramp. He's an extra body yes, but I don't feel he's worth his mana cost. If it put that creature it searched for to our hand, different story!
