This is the build I am aquiring cards for. However, my lgs doesn't hold hardly any modern events so EDH has priority. This is also from memory and I haven't played it in a bit. Also the sideboard is untested. Any suggestions on that or the list in general would be appreciated. Thanks
Karador likes Strip Mine and Tec. Edge with his Life from th Loam. I also run them in my Drana/Coffers EDH deck to kill opposing Strip Mines and such so I can clear the way for Coffers. and there are already cards to tutor for Coffers that can later find these.
I don't see anything in your list that has targeted sacrifice so I think it's safe to say you're good with the Greaves. Whenever it says "Sacrifice a creature" in a cost or anything, you can sac a greavesed creature.
Why is Platinum Angel here? Does your meta have very little spot removal? I only ask because every time one of my friends uses it it just dies as soon as someone gets that player to the point where they'd be dead in some way. I think it'd be better as a Kuldotha Forgemeaster. Cheaper, a sac outlet, and a tutor to the field. Seems better than an overcosted, nearly vanilla flyer imo. Most of the rest of this is pretty neat however. Also, sorry for dredging up your post after over 6 months.
@ psilocybianth Still testing the new iteration and wanted to try the Eye. It is normally going for Wurmcoil, Battlesphere, or Duplicant as togorian said. I need to find a Proteus Staff. It would let turn my Duplicant into other stuff then I could Eye it up again. Got the idea from another non combo deck I was checking out although I forgot which one. Expensive, yes. Funny if you pull it off, absolutely.
I'll start by saying thanks for the imput and concern. It is much appreciated.
On Arcane Denial. This card is actually plain good. In 60 card formats it's terrible but EDH is not a format where your opponent has a gigantic chance to draw into another threat. Usually they will just draw into lands or spells that would've been good at the beginning of the game but are now dead. Yes, there is a chance that they will get something good but it's the price to pay for a cheap, cantripping, splashable counter.
Tunnel Vision was a part of the combo iteration of this list to find Bitter Ordeal and usually you'd mill the last piece of Sharuum combo. Now I'm testing it as a seudo, one-shot Hermit Druid for this deck. I haven't tested it thoroughly yet so no reports.
Finally, your suggestions are quite good. However, I've been wanting to pull out some of the random good stuff I've thrown in for more control-oriented cards. The Adjucator has been a thought that I'm still tinkering with.
Thanks again and I hope my card choices make a bit more sense now.
Not exactly random but my Karador build was modified a while back to support Gaddock Teeg to stop opposing board wipes, extra turn spells, Stranglehold (which is anti-EDH hate), Genesis Wave, etc. My friends hate him so much.
Bump. Also HUGE update to the list. It's not just a mindless copy and paste of every other Sharuum combo deck out there. New direction is non-combo aggro control/fun stuff I've wanted to try out. Still need help figuring out what to cut for more permanent control and maybe a few more counters. Any help is Appreciated.
I use it in a semi-casual Baru, Fist of Krosa deck that runs landfall stuff + stuff like Azusa, Oracle of Mul Daya, etc. One land in hand simulates as many land drops as I'm allowed per turn.
I'm pretty sure redundancy is a good thing, especially when the thing that's being redundant is tutor effects. Just swap that one for a better one, imo. Also, I just rechecked the list and Karador only has one piece of recursion backup. Why so?
I wouldn't swap the two, no. I kinda feel as though my druid count either needs to stay stationary or get bigger, but not smaller. This doesn't mean I can't have the Elder in the deck, however. I may have to test him because he could be very good actually. Thank you for bringing him up because I didn't even consider him. He may have to go in my Baru build also once I get that sleeved up.
Imho, Akroma's Memorial is a card for tokens or aggro face. It should probably be changed to another answer. I would suggest SunTitan, but your curve is a bit too top heavy in the answers department, imo. Also, Planar Portal should be a spell. Unless your opponents don't have any answers, I don't see you getting more than one shot off of it too often. I only run it in my Seton list because it can get 10 mana by turn 3. Lastly, I'd like to second Deadmanseven's comment on cards that fill your yard. As long as you don't overextend, they are a godsend and are pretty much more efficient spare copies of Demonic Tutor. Good luck and happy building.
When I swing in with a horde of Seton druids, my new thing to say is "GO TEAMA!" You'll understand if you watch "S*&^ Baseball Players Say". It's "Got Heem" but I don't care.

Edit: Four (E Wit) is still kinda sad. I really recommend Necromancy and Animate Dead for your build. They are brilliant cards for sure.
