One of those Treefolk can tutor up the Rootgrapple. Then use some Draw card to get it. I haven't had bad experiences with it yet and one mana in this deck doesn't seem terribly relevant. Besides my somewhat but not really relevant explaination, a completely irelevant excuse is that mine is SHINY! I can see your point though.

The Triumph was in my mind's card pool for the deck in the beginning and then I forgot to throw it in so thanks. I'm not too sure on the Tanglewurm but I'll test it. It may be dead against my normal playgroup beacsue there's a lot of green floating around, though.

I wish I had a Maze but they're like $40 right now. I was contimplating not buying the Rofellos I just got so...

Also, I don't have Snow-Covered Forests, nor Extraplanar Lens, and all my friends have at least one green deck and I didn't want to help them with Gauntlet. And the list is so hard to cut from now, I wouldn't know what to take out. Thanks for the reply, however.

Edit; Also this was built for a local EDH tourney and the owner is banning infinite combos so not only do I have to cut the current ones, I can't add more. I don't want to get too used to them.

I didn't even know that card existed! And it's super cheap! Hmm... new test card. Thanks for that. It'll probably take Path's place though because I'd rather give life than lands.

Is Melira in here just for Woodfall Primus or is there a Skittles deck running around your meta. If the former is the case, I'd cut it for Defense. It seems a bit too narrow to earn a spot in that case.

Defense is good. I use it in most of my green decks, partly because I don't have T&N but also it has been known to waste my opponents tutors and removal. It's a must answer card so if they can they will. And if they don't, in your case, you win. In my case I just get what I need to wreck them. (=

I'd suggest Life from the Loam. It is such an amazing card in this deck and it doesn't dump enough cards in the bin to completely hose you if people hate your yard immediately afterwards.

Updated OP again. Finally got a LftL. Also I'm quite pleased with Animate Deam and Necromancy so they are in the list. I haven't had enough test time with Novablast Wurm to say that I like it or not, however. I do feel that this deck is finally coming to its peak, though. I still need to finish out the lands but that will come in time.

Last thing, I'm testing Realms Uncharted. It's been chilling in my binder for a long time and a guy at my lgs reminded me that Life is a card that I use so it could be good. I think I want some more/better utility lands for it though so I'll have to think on that. I was just wanting to hear prople's thoughts. Thanks.

Traded for a GSZ and a Chord yesterday. I'm also testing the Creeping Renaissance. My buddy's Kaalia deck likes to sweep the board a lot so it does indeed seem promising. Other than that, I think I just need Rofellos and a Gaea's Cradle(too hot for my blood). Thanks for the suggestions guys

I will agree that the tutors should be added. I just plain don't have them at the moment. In time I'll trade for them because I need them for future deck plans as well. As for Primordial Sage, I need to find room. I can probably take out a random druid. Thanks for the imput.

I have been wanting to make a mono-green horizontal deck for months now and finally settled on making Seton. He caught my eye when watching that Daily MTG EDH video with Rashad Miller's Seton list. I didn't really see what was in it, it just intruiged me, the thought of killing people with a swarm of druids. So, here's the list.

    Plan:
Step 1: Try to get Seton out turn 3, or 2 if possible.
Step 2: Poop out loads of Druids!
Step 3: RAMPZ! DFHJKSV!? And also, draw butt tons of cards.
Step 4: Find either Curio combo -or- just an overrun/super pump card or set of cards and swarm -or- Gen. Wave/Helix Pinnacle/Squall Line to victory/full table draw

That^^ and have fun. The deck is a blast to pilot, especially against sad panda, non-green decks that would already be a bit behind on mana because you just get to drown in it.

Curio combo: If you didn't see it right off the bat, here's the explaination. If you have Seton, Cloudstone Curio, and any of the following:Recycle, Gilt-Leaf Archdruid, Primordial Sage, Glimpse of Nature if you decide to run it; and two 1-drop druids, you use tone 1cc guy to play for the other. As the second comes in, you draw a card and bounce the guy you tapped. Then repeat the process until you get a way to win (preferably some overrun, Rofellos/Priest of Titania/Elvish Archdruid and the Crossroads).

    Card Explainations
Llanowar, Fyndhorn, and Arbor Elves: 1 cmc mana dorks don't seem too relevant, especially because our General lets thhem tap for mana already, right? Wrong. These guys help power out Seton turn 2 which can make the deck way more explosive. They also help later on when people figure out that your deck ramps like a boss and kill your General 6 times.

Elvish Pioneer: This guy is the best Druid to plop Turn 1. He gives us turn 2 Seton without having to tap, meaning we have 2 mana left to play Sylvan library, Priest of Titania, Rofellos, etc. I want A functional reprint of this guy BAD!

Boreal Druid/Joraga Treespeaker/Heritage Druid/Heart Warden: Check Llany, Fynny, Arbor elf minust the turn 2 Seton.

Treefolk Harbinger: Not the best choice, but it can find Rootgrapple if you need it, Seedguide ash for a beater-ish guy, or just hit your land drop. He's also another 1 cmc druid which helps with Cloudstone Curio shenanigans.

Elvish Lyrist: random 1 drop utility druid. Helps combo with Seton, Curio, and a draw when cast card (i.e. Recycle).

Werebear: It's freaking Werebear. Why not. Also 2 mana 4/4 is good later on if we want to win through beats. Not too impressive but that's what you get for playing druids.

Llanowar Druid: Stupid good with Caged Sun. Also just gets that extra mana you need for big Hatcheries or Gen. Waves.

Priest of Titania/Elvish Archdruid: a little over half of our druids are also elves so these are good.

Rofellos: quite a bit over half of our lands are Forests so he's good. He's banned as a general for a good reason.

Farhaven Elf/Yavimaya Elder/Seedguide Ash: Basic land fetch on druid bodies.

Krosan Restorer/Argothian Elder: Can untap some of our useful utility lands or just forests if we have The Sun.

Elvish Harbinger: usually finds Priest, Elvish Archdruid, Rofellos, or Cammy Colossus. Can also hit Gilt-Leaf Archdruid if you want to combo with Curio.

Adaptive Automaton/Kaysa/Eldrazi Monument: Combine a few +1/+1 beefs and your army can be kinda scary. Caged Sun and Elvish Archdruid also help here.

Nantuko Mentor: one shot Cammy Colossus for any creature. Seems good in a horizontal deck.

Chameleon Colossus: One of the best druids, saprolings, rats, ouphes, brownies, etc. Also adds 1 to elf count and beat faces somethin' fierce.

Gilt-Leaf Archdruid: helps combo with Cloudstone Curio to draw as much of your deck as you want (with 2 1cmc druids and Seton). The land steal is mostly used as a rattlesnake to make sure people play nice but can be an asymmetrical, green Armegeddon.

Recycle/Primordial Sage:Look up minus the land stealing part.

    Citunal Woodreaders/Regal Force/Slate of Ancestry/Collective Unconscious/Harmonize/Sylvan Library/Top: I can haz mucho tarjetas! Bueno!

Kamahl/Garruk/Beastmaster Ascension: Make your team win.

    E. Wit/Regrowth/Praetor's Counsel/Creeping Rennaissance: recursion is good. Also, the Rennaissance and Counsel help a lot against sweepers.

Duplicant/Terastodon/Spine of Ish Sah/Karn/Beast Within/Desert Twister/Rootgrapple: sometimes you don't want other people to have cool stuff. Also, on a really good draw, Terastodon turn three to turn your opponents lands into cute little elephants is quite a good idea.

Contagion Engine: A one person wipe of sorts that can also help a few things in the deck (planeswalkers, Oran-Riefed dudes, Hatchery, etc.)

Hatchery/Helix Pinnacle: These help us win, most likely, although they may just get us a burrito from the taco truck. I'm unsure.

Planar Portal/Citanul Flute: Tutors we can reuse. They aren't amazing in most decks, but we make lots of mana. I'm so glad Portal finally has a home.

Quirion Ranger/Caged Sun/Seedborn Muse: MOAR MANAZ!

Cloudstone Curio: apart from comboing, it can just bounce guys to reuse ETB effects like the big ephelant or Regal Force. And mine's signed by C.J. Boyd so it should be in a deck.

Asceticsim: Protect your team from spot removal and newer and damage based wipe spells.

    Gen. Wave/Squall Line: Mana dumps.

Misty/Verdant: Shuffle the deck, pretty much.

Oran-Rief: Sometimes you play a lot of guys in one turn. This helps the beater strategy. Also fun with Orochi Hatchery.

Wirewood Lodge: Look at Priest/Elvish Archdruid and Rofellos when I get one.

Reliquary Tower: we get cards, lots of them if we're lucky.

Tranquil Thicket: Draw when you need it, land when you don't. I think I said that backwards.

And last but cetainly not least...

RINGS OF BRIGHTHEARTH: Probably my favorite card in the deck. Weird right. But go back through the list. You can cheapen overruns, double the ones from Garruk, double Karn, proliferate 4 times in a turn, double tutor, Draw LOTS more cards, double the counters you are putting on Helix Pinnacle for turn, make twice as many hatchery babies, double Oran-Rief, untap more land, and the list goes on. Very fun.

I like Oblivion Stone over Planar Cleansing because Sun Titan can grab it and this is good since you're running Dauntless now. Cheers

    @ Zalachan
The theroy you refer to is pretty much how I tried to build this deck because Karador is a dirt colored Animar. I run about 35 in my test list which isn't up on here because I don't own some of the cards yet.

    @ sonofrahzeem
like I said, if my group was super competitive, I would change the deck, but htey aren't so basics exist in the deck and artifact screw overs do not. The deck can be trolly sometimes but it isn't meant to win turn 6.

    Thanks for the imput guys.

    @sonofrahzeem

The deck is somewhere in the middle between casual and competitive. I like that it isn't super broken and wins turn 4 or 5 because it allows games to be longer and more interactive. I'll be honest that it isn't everyones favorite deck of mine, but it is something that makes people think, me included. I don't currently own a Life from the Loam but I'm proxy testing it in place of Tilling Treefolk and it's amazing. @ 0 basic lands, Hermit Druid is helping me fill the yard, not instantly win the game, so basics are good, esecially because all of the decks in my playgroup roll with at least 2 pieces of tutorable gravehate(Karador, Sharuum, and The Mimeoplasm can't be left to run rampant I guess). As for the Stony Silence and Null Rod, I'm disinclined to use them because they don't stop Bojuka Bog and aren't as easily tutorable in the deck as the current gravehate hate, even though they are more resilient. Thanks for the suggestions and feedback, sir. Have a great day.

This will also be tested. I don't have a Necromancy but I do have Graveborn A. Deads so I'll check it out. Thanks.

On a quick note, if anyone hasn't tried Hermit Druid, I would try it out. I played a game against my friend's Kaalia deck, which is quite good in 1v1, and played the druid turn 2 and proceeded to win through both a Bojuka Bog and Relic of Progenitus. It helped that Druid wasn't in the yard when these things happened but it was awsome, nonetheless.
