What do you think of this? I'd be giving pile A and receiving pile B, but not sure if it is worth it:
Pile A
1x ISD Liliana of the Veil
3x RAV Dark Confidant
2x FUT Tarmogoyf (1 of them ex, with a circular mark of pressure)
1x Promo Cryptic Command
1x KTK Bloodstained Mire
2x Collective Brutality
1x Foil Paradox Engine
1x Gemstone Caverns (French)
1x PC Damnation
2x Creeping Tar Pit
1x Darkslick Shores
1x Phyrexian Obliterator (Chinese)
1x GTC Breeding Pool
Pile B
1x ALL Force Of Will
1x FWB Plateau (French)
1x FWB Underground Sea (French)
1x Thorn of Amethyst
1x Karn, the Great Creator
Hi, I have Thopter Assembly and Strionic Resonator, and Thopter Assembly's ability triggers at my upkeep. I copy it with my resonator. Would it put 10 thopters, or only 5 because after the first 5 thopters the second instance of the ability in the stack sees that I control some thopters?
I have read the 9 pages and have had a lot of fun. I am trying to build Breya but more focused in value, as I play always with the same friends that don't have access to really good cards and feels dirty to kill them with infinite combos But, truth be told, combos in Breya seems to happen even when you are not actively looking for them
Have you have a link to your updated list, Dies_to_Doom_Blade?
Hi folks, have you been playing this deck as for lately? Any updates with new cards such as Ravenous Chupacabra?
I like No Mercy as a way to prevent people attacking me, stalling them for a while and/or making them sacrifice more creatures.
Hi boys, it might not be the right forum for that but i have a question (Since i play U-Tron).
I played today with somefriends and i had a problem with a cryptic command. The player choose to bounce my Wurmcoil Engine and in response, i pay one blue and select my Spellskite. Question is, is cryptic command still resolving? I know that both targets are legal, but the target that was suppose to be resolve is no longer viable cause the target is changed. Its like Ricochet Trap, if you choose counter-draw and the spell you selected is not legal because there is another instant spell which is redirecting the effect to Ricochet, the target is illegal.
Maybe the problem is with the "illegal" target or i have a fail in comprehension or a misunderstanding of the rule. If im right on what i say, can you post the rule please?
Thank you in advance.
As I see it, your Spellskite will be bounced as it is a legal target and the opponent will draw a card off the CC, if he/she chose to do so. If you choose to redirect to Spellskite a Lightning bolt, it deals 3 damage to Spellskite (obviously). If Lightning bolt also said "draw a card" (it would be beyond overpowered)) your opponent will also draw the card. That is what happens with CC if they choose to draw and to bounce your Wurmcoil and you redirect it to your Spellskite.
Have anyone tested Delay? In paper it seems good against aggro (an early threat is not so much of a threat 3 turns later), good against combo, good vs counterspells and good vs spells with X in their mana cost. Obviously it doesn't cantrip as Remand does, but there are situations where Remand is kind of useless, relying only in blind-drawing another solution.
Haven't really tested it, just asking for thoughts in case any of you have tryed it.
@Alur13: thanks, it makes sense. I will try to get the chalices, but their price tag is a bit too much for me. Meanwhile, I'll look for alternative lists without them.
Is Trinisphere a budget replacement for Chalice of the Void? Is the only card I'm missing and not going to get it in the near future. Or it is better not to use it at all and put another card in its slot?
Has anyone tested the Hoogland version of gifts? He said in twitter he was writing an article about the deck.
I don't have the Goryo's to playtest it, maybe I'll proxy his list up and play some games. I find it interesting (although not new, as Goryo's + Ghost Council is not new).
Not any particular ideas yet, just wondering because I love when I reanimate fatties in my gifts ungiven modern deck and I thought it would be añso viable here
Have you considered adding The Tabernacle at Pendrell's Vale? It seems to fit the taxing/sacrificing creatures theme of the deck.
Hi FireStorm4056, I'm very interested in this idea, keep on with this amusing deck
Do you feel some fatties would make the cut for reanimation purposes, due to - on paper - Meren getting counters easily? Or is it to cute? You would have to cut Bob, for sure...

Why did it happen?

@Rafael_Remy I forgot to quote you.
