I rather see a new Plane than revisiting something at this point. If anything, I would much rather go back to Kamigawa instead of Ravanica, and focus on Bolas doing something to that Plane. There hasn't been a "bad guys" focused set in such a long time. Last I can remember is New Phyrexia.
Did you somehow miss Hour of Devastation?
That still to me is a good guy arc that just lost. Not something like Hour where Jace and co just get separated. That to me is still a good guy focused arc, since it develops the good guys rather than the bad guys. I want to see a bad guy development arc. Even something like Garruk going around killing some one-shot Planeswalkers.

Or make one of the "outside Domineria" sets like Arabian nights and Homelands it's own plane. I guess amonkhet is kind of like Arabian nights, but a Homelands block. Since Homelands likes Legendary creatures, I would like to have something like a commander-esque block.
You have 1 legendary creature of each of the 5 colors, and every card around it focuses around that one single card. It'll kind of feel like a Real Time Strategy Game. I think that'll be kind of fun to play.
Have a BBBB legendary creature called Mr. Peanuts that has the following 3 abilities, B: Give target black creature +1/+1, and BB: Reveal the top card of your library, put it in your hand, lose life equal to it's mana cost. BBB: Creatures you control gain Deathtouch and Lifelink until the end of turn. Then the 40 something cards have something to do with Mr. Peanuts. Of course every color has their own thing.
I honestly don't know if this would be any good, but the idea seems to be okay. Basically using the Undying mechanic of Young Wolf and Strangleroot Giest the cheap Amonkhet creatures with the -1/-1 counters can be mitigated. Especially when you can just reuse both Wolf and Giest again and again with them coming back over and over. The problem is that the payoff doesn't seem all that strong. Sure you can probably win with just the disruption package of discards, but it just seems too fair. Any suggestions?
I like the Merfolk idea with Deeproot Waters. Cast a merfolk and get 2 1/1 hexproof guys seems pretty good, as well as having the double trigger from the Merfolk itself. Only problem I see is that it's pretty slow. And you need to give up Vial, which I think is a bad move.
I just wanted to say, that this deck is great on Magic Arena. Raging Regisaur and Etali, Primal Storm are such fun creatures in that vampire filled meta.
Honestly, this card naming Humans with Radiant Destiny looks very strong in standard as a white weenie aggro. There's plenty of strong humans in Standard.
Glory Bound, Emissary of Sunrise, Sunscorge Champion, Vizier of Deferment. And since there are new guys coming in, such as the Hexproof Knight, Danitha, the Bodyguard.
Add in a few other supporting cards such as Shalai and you'll have a pretty decent deck with 8 anthem effects.
You'll die before you even get to cast either of them if you're playing even at the FNM level.
If not, the best shell if playing the 2 angels is going to have to be a Goryo's Vengeance deck. Getting Gisela out is pretty easy, it's Brisela that's the challenge. And Goryo's lets you cheat her into play.
If not, you're going to have to play some Mono-White devotion to ramp them out there, which also works. Since there's plenty of white enchantment removal.
Nevermind, I re-read all the cards with Goryo's exiling at the END OF TURN. I answered my own question with Gisela dying to bolt and getting Bruna exiled. Problem solved. Thanks for looking.

Would Bloodcrazed Paladin be decent in here? Or Bontu? Or you don't really want to hold up 2 mana?

If I have a Gisela, the Broken Blade and at the beginning of my end step, my opponent chooses to Lightning Bolt my Gisela. In response, I cast Goryo's Vengence targeting my Bruna, the Fading Light in the graveyard.
What happens? Does it meld? Does Gisela die, then Bruna comes back and gets exiled?
