There usually is a scum disruption role of some kind. Especially if there is a vig.

@wisp do you read before you post? That's why I want to kill the scum RB...

    Also Vaimes can be town.

@Wisp there is about a 2% chance this game has a cop. It's a Bur/Shadow joint. I will be shocked if there is a hard investigation.

But more importantly I think KA is scummier than LnG (who is more absent than anything) and I don't see a difference between leaving various consensus scum reads to be sorted by power.

As for your earlier question about an RB and why I don't want to have to think about you I assume there is a scum RB in every game and I hope we kill them so you self resolve.

Yeah I can't tell if KA thinks flipping Rhand actually resolves the thing or will then retreat to pushing EtR again. I believe he'll do the latter so his recent posts and giant theory post justifying it feels scummy to me.

    Dawn of Day 6

Harold wanted nothing more than to go to the casino, get sloshed, lose some tax payer money, and forget all about the past two weeks. His suits all had mothballs and his normally pristine flat was rank. And worst of all he was down to his last bottle of vodka.

He hadn't heard from anyone in days and the last time he stepped outside was at least a week ago. He had cleaned his pistol so many times that he'd shaved 2 seconds off his already stellar personal best. The normally organized target board looked more like a conspiracy theorists fever dream than his tidy handiwork.

"I need a drink." he thought as his phone's 5:30 alarm rang. It had been another sleepless night. Harold broke the seal on the bottle and took a deep swig straight from the neck and felt fire spread down his throat. His eyes started watering and he fell to his knees clawing at his neck.

Cantripmancer has been killed he was Harold Baines Rich Vanilla Town

You begin the game with 1 coin in your possession.

Bond movies are the bane of your existence... Somehow the idea of a handsome British man in a suit screams spy to everyone. You've had your cover blown more times than you can count due to people saying "Are you a spy? You are like a real life James Bond!" Sure you drink martini's. And you like baccarat. Not every Englishman who does is a spy. Well recently you've realized that you can be a lot more effective if you just speak in a Canadian Accent, which you've learned to do perfectly. No one ever suspects a handsome Canadian.

It is now day 6. With 3 alive 2 is a majority. Deadline is March 15th at 7pm EST. Please do not play to the minimum requirements. Good luck!

The most annoying thing about this game is none of my scum reads make sense with each other for reasons beyond normal bussing type stuff but it's too early to worry about that.

I really want to hear more from both EtR and Tau. I still very much believe there is scum in Rhand/Tom/DV. I hope Riku goes okay with his employer going under. I think KA isn't the worst target for the day. I think KJ is obviously townie and people should just accept his clear of me and force scum to NK us.

I think the best wagons for today are Rhand, EtR, KA, LnGrrrR, and maybe GJ/tom/DV but there really isn't enough there that they should be. I don't have a good feel for this game and I really hope that we get lucky and kill the scum RB because I don't want to have to think about wisp after toDay.

    End of day 5

No one ever realizes how many spies there are in Africa, which does make your job easier. And on a massive continent with hugely varied languages, cultures, and environments you'll take whatever help you can get.

    Night will last ~24 hours.

@Tom fair enough I read your post much more as a leading rhetorical tool than a question.

@Riku you do realize that by advertising your style you reduce it's effectiveness. And by being so self aware of it people are encouraged to make pure activity reads when they shouldn't.

During the long hours of the night, when you know there is a target on your back, it's hard not to wonder if each noise in the dark will be the last one you hear.

    LnGrrrR (2): Vaimes, Eco
    Ecophagy (1): LnGrrrR
    Not voting (2): Cantripmancer, Highroller

Please don't play to the minimum posting requirements.

Deadline is in roughly 11 hours and 15 minutes.

I'd be curious to know what you would fill in your own blank with Tom.

    @Grape
another tid bit, is that the dude who is calling you town based off a green check he received via his role, would probably be voting you if not for the check...

I noticed and it is probably because I am taking advantage of the green check to run through this game bull in a China shop. Given that I'll never be the day kill before KJ I might as well challenge EVERYTHING and not worry at all about what people think of me. Which is normally much higher in my concerns.

Wisp just to clarify in popular usage posting thoughts without conclusions is kind of the opposite of what an echo chamber is. An echo chamber is generally seen as finding people who spout the same conclusions as you and patting each other on the back for all having reached the same "right" conclusion.

Anyway I actually have been net impressed by EtR this page but mostly because my memory was wrong.

Again this is based on the assumption that it was initially correct (before EtR answered) for players of either alignment to vote or signal interest in voting for EtR. DV if you want to specifically argue we're bad for that I'll accept that you believe it but clearly based on the reaction in the thread that is a minority opinion and probably shouldn't be applied to random player x.

It's almost like I had the conversation about why this wagon yesterday...

Maybe we should just kill everyone who thought tubba was scum and call it a day. There is no world where everyone pushing him was town.
why tubba wagon over last wagon? Or grape wagon? Or... ******* etr wagon?

Because there were demonstrable reasons those wagons existed. The tubba wagon had zero reason to exist and was pushed with great confidence by a few players over 1(?) post that was not well reasoned.

The last wagon cropped up in RVS and was fake pushed by me. As fun as it was I don't have a ton of confidence drawing conclusions from the wagon itself. Reactions to it were more valuable than the wagon.

My wagon had legit reasons behind it and since most people sheeped Rhand it's hard to sort. Vaimes looks slightly sketchy for his unecessary alternative reasoning but you've already provided semi compelling reasoning why that might be townie for Vaimes specifically.

The EtR wagon was full of either excited townies overreacting or scum pretending to overreact. It's not the easiest wagon to parse.

The tubba wagon had no mitigating circumstances and cropped up around the time I'd expect a counterwagon to be hopped on by wolves for "contrarian" credit.
