I had the most ridiculous pull in that I got THREE mythics in six packs (Gisela, the Broken Blade, Relentless Dead, and Tree of Perdition). Went W/B and was 3-1. Overall, much more fun than SoI (fun build, cheery playing partners), although if I remember correctly, I had one usable rare in the whole lot
I would say it depends on your patience level. If you want fetches right away, you are probably out of luck. That being said, you will get them. I look for mostly Cube items on PT, and have gotten them (fetches, Show and Tell, Mox Diamond, etc.). But if you are expecting to wait a few days and get a hit, you will probably be disappointed (example, I've had Liliana of the Veil on my list for months and no takers. I guess it's kind of like fishing
I just got mine back from Wizards. In my letter, I told them I had gotten two Sunken Hollow expeditions (which was true), so if they wanted to send something else of similar value that would be fine. They sent back a Watery Grave! Still have never had issues with service from WotC, very satisfied
WotC seems really good about making this right. I got a Sunken Hollow that was damaged on the right side and the top edge. They sent me a FedEx label to send it in. I even forgot to include the receipt and they said to just send it separately and they would take care of it. Nice service!
Many cities (like San Francisco) have sort facilities so even if you throw it away it still gets recycled. Normal packaging isn't recyclable so good idea.
I recently started using, was able to unload several foils (which I can take or leave, but many people highly value), and have received back Damnation, Ali From Cairo and a Wasteland so I feel well worth it. I would say try it and unload some smaller items that you would not be able to trade otherwise (you would be surprised what people want). If you don't like it, easy to back out as long as you don't have trades hanging out.
I think because they have set up the importance of the wards failing in the previous sets, Avacyn will have some kind of Propoganda-type ability (showing that the wards are being restored): "Non-human creatures opponents control can't attack unless their controller pays 2 for each attacking creature"
Smoldering package: Emrakul, The Promised End, Ishkanah, Grafwidow
Lili package: Nahiri's Wrath
Tamiyo package: Liliana, the Last Hope, Grim Flayer
I live in US, so it seems random as always
