me and some freinds are playing edh, one of my friends has a u/w exalted deck. He has geist of saint traft in play, when he attacks does the ability for the token trigger. or is put directly into play. Just wondering if there anyway for geist to get the benefit from exalted.

i have a question i am playing on mtgo and i attacked my opponent he didnt block after combat i cast bloodlord of vaasgoth and it came into play with 3 1/1 counters. is that how the card suppose to work i thought you needed one in play for the ablity to work.
