It's written on the card. "Ember-Eye Wolf gets +2/0 until end of turn."

    Hahaah, derp.

It is a little suspect that, 0ut of all of the leaked cards, no one card is especially exciting or powerful, seemingly all of the mechanics have been covered, and only a handful of story details as well.

Leaks fit the block theme of clues and solving a mystery too, just saying

The fact that the new mechanics/keywords are already spoiled is by far the biggest strike against Wizards being behind this as far as I'm concerned.

Can anyone read the numbers on the new cards? Some of them seem obvious but others are pretty hard to read.

Edit: I think Pieces of the Puzzle has to be 78, since it must be 77 or 78 and it doesn't look like 77. (The numbers I think are correct I'm adding to the spoiler if I'm sufficiently certain.)

Edit: OK, I think these are all of the readable/inferrable numbers on the new cards:
    Niblis of Dusk -- 76
Pieces of the Puzzle -- 78
Pore Over the Pages -- 79
    Stitched Mangler -- 89
Crow of Dark Tidings -- 105
Dead Weight -- 106 [known card, new number]
    Shamble Back -- 134
    Ember-Eye Wolf -- 154
    Lightning Axe -- totally unreadable
    Magmatic Chasm -- 172
    Sanguinary Mage -- 178
    Voldaren Duelist -- 191
    Quilled Wolf -- 222
    Explosive Apparatus -- 255

Edit: Lightning Axe is actually maybe not totally unreadable, but I don't think we have enough to pin it down entirely.

Where did you get the name Ember-Eye Wolf from?

I think Lightning Axe is 178 or 179. The lowest it could be is 166 but I don't think the second digit is a 6.

Am I the only one who is kind of sad this is happening? The major leaks for both OGW and now this. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot more packs in circulation if these two can show up like this, but I really hope there aren't. Destroys the spoiler season and the order of reveals that make it interesting.
No, I am too. I mean, so far it's fine, these few common/uncommon spoilers are just whetting my appetite and making me curious about the Limited format. But if we end up with half the set (or god forbid the whole thing like in the New Phyrexia godbook leak), that would SUCK. It's not completely terrible if it's close to release and it just takes the wind out of one or two preview weeks, though that's still kind of disappointing.

Can you imagine if we wound up knowing the entire set months beforehand? That's just about the most effective way I can imagine to dampen enthusiasm for the set, short of announcing "Surprise! It's just a Fallen Empires reprint!"

The whole story about these leaks is just PR... There is a reason why we don't see the best cards leaked first.

If Wizards was orchestrating the leaks they would have better timing.

Wait, Prowess is back?! Well, still around. At least on a better Creature body.

    It's evergreen.

So does this lend more credence to the rumors that someone managed to smuggle out an entire box of SOI?

Hard to tell. This is more then one pack worth of cards since there are twelve commons but there are also no flip cards and no rares so it's possible this is unrelated to the first leak and didn't come from packs at all.

    Shamble Back - 134
    Stitched Mangler - 89(?)
Pore Over the Pages - 79
Explosive Apparatus looks like 255 which would mean less multicolored cards, potentially quite a few less
    Magnetic Chasm - 172
The red wolf with the name cut off looks like 154
    Niblis of Dusk - 76
    Quilled Wolf - 222
Voldaren Duelist - 191 which would make Village Messenger wrong
    Sanguinary Mage - 178 (?)
Pieces of the Puzzle - 76(?)
Crow of Dark Tidings 105 which makes Dead Weight wrong

At least we aren't seeing an Uncovered Clues reprint.

Maybe this strictly better version might actually be remotely playable.

    This version isn't "strictly better".

So apparently the story of SOI is going to involve Jace investigating something.

Someone is going to make a killing by selling Blue's Clues clue token cards on eBay.

Why is this in the rumor forum?

This site has some pretty retarded forum organization sometimes.

Also, the set code should have been EDM.

I like the transformation for cards the most. Other mechanics are also nice, from this point they did a good job. How ever, if you look on the cards, most are bad. Half are even bad for a intro-pack. If this set would be full of bulk like others nothing will change, the standard deck from boosters will still be a dream.

Of these I expect Fiery Temper to make it in Standard.

    Pack Guardian.

If whoever has the box spoiled every card inside that would be one of the worst leaks in Magic history.

100% of the commons and uncommons and over half the rares spoiled before Wizards spoils anything themselves? They might as well just go ahead and post a C/UC/R spoiler on their own site if they can confirm a whole box went missing.

The way that counter spell is worded and how strong and complex it is for uncommon has me calling fake.

What are you willing to bet?
