Caw blade is obviously the deck to beat. But wait, there's more! It's Darkblade. Not your garden-variety UW play dudes and tempo you out of the building. It has disruption, which is 10 times better than counterspells. Being proactive is better than being reactive in this format and people are finally starting to realize that GerryT is right.
There will be your random decks, like Valakut, Hawkward, Boros and vampires. All these decks have the potential to do decent, except hawkward. People need to realize that is not a real deck. Moving on. I also didn't list UB control on purpose, because i assume people will realize now that cawblade can rip that phyrexian Crusader from there hand with despise and Inquisition they have no chance of beating them.
The one deck I think has a chance against Darkblade to take it down is, of course, Grixis Twin.
The deck is good. Not the second coming of Faeries, but good. It has all the tools to be good. Disruption, card filtering, protection and a two-card, possible turn-4 kill combo. This. Is. Good. If I was able to play, I would play this:

The deck is all-in on the combo, which is the way I feel it should be. I have grave titans in the sb for the mirror, along with the Liliana. Slagstorm is there for cawblade. Even though you can rip there hand appart, them landing a squadron hawk, even without the swords, can kill you. Sometimes you just can't find the combo. It happens. Thats what the Slagstorms are for. As a bonus, they are also randomly good for killing Jaces when your opponent isn't smart enough to Fateseal you.
I hope you enjoyed what I was able to share here. If you play in the SCG event this year, tell us how you did. Try the deck out, its good. Until next time, I am out, later!
